I have an in between 9 1/2 sized foot, and they’re flat so, a 9 1/2 in most brand boots are a little too roomy, and a 9 is usually too short. I have to go to an 8 1/2 in this boot but, it fits good and snug on my feet and…after about three days of break in, it’s perfectly formed to my feet. This is the third pair I’ve bought, and I’ll more than likely be buying another, after I wear these out, which won’t be for quite awhile. They’re reliably solidly built. I'm on probably my 6th or 7th pair of these boots. They have been my "go-to" work boot for years! the last few pair the plastic heel cup breaks down within a few months of wear and has torn holes in all my socks. I love that they are made in the USA, its one of the reasons I continue to purchase them but with the most recent price hike and the heel cup issue I'll be looking for a different boot to replace these as my "go-to" work boots. ... show more

This boot is made domestically and that really shows. The stitching is impeccable. For a steel toe safety boot with a rubber sole you really can't get a more slim side profile. Goodyear welt means my cobbler will be happy. The saddle vamp is a touch fancy for me with all the broguing. The seam on the inside of the shaft is covered, but I'd like to see that laying a little flatter I do feel it at times but definitely reaching for complaints. They seem to run a little big and you may want to go down a size if your in between. They conform more and more to my foot the more I wear them and truly are on par with some of my favorite boots of all time. Danner Super Rainforest moc toes, and Thoroughgood Moc toes are probably my favorites ever and these may exceed that high bar. I never thought I'd like a Western styled work boot this much. ... show more

The wide width are very wide. Tried to exchange them for a regular width but they are now $75 more than what i paid for them and they want to charge the difference. No thanks. Returning!
