One of the hinge points wasn’t tight enough to keep the phone in the right position. There was nothing to tighten either so you’ll be stuck with it like that. I liked the look and the design but it needs to stay in the position you want and not point downward. UPDATE: Amazon refunded my purchase. I was contacted, though, by a company rep who offered (and did) send me a free replacement. Keep in mind, Amazon already gave me a refund. The replacement arrived damaged in shipping. I let the rep know via email (she was VERY responsive via email) and told her not to worry about it (I already got a refund). She insisted and sent me a third one that was an updated model. I used it over the weekend and it was excellent! I did a review in that item's page. The main point of this update is that this company offers outstanding service and truly cares about their customers' satisfaction! It's hard to remember ever receiving such concern for my satisfaction from just about any company! Go to their store's page and check out what they offer. Make sure the frame you are wanting to arrach it to isn't aluminum, like I did. My husband made me a steel plate and attached it. The magnet is very strong, it stays in place with my phone on it and the quick release is awesome!
