  • Would I recommend? It depends.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this DE bag just to get me through the quarantine and to blow off steam. Price was my deciding factor. Normally I’d spend a little more for a better quality product (Title or Ringside) if it were something I planned on using long term. Construction seems a bit flimsy and I don’t expect it to last longer than a few months, but time will tell. The Velcro holding the hanging straps together tore off immediately upon hanging the bag. There’s what appears to be a lot of fraying on the straps which a few other reviewers have pointed out. I’m not sure if that will be an issue or not. The mounting hardware is fine, the bungees are both the same size so you have to get a little creative adjusting the height and tension of the bag. I doubled over the top bungee and anchored the bottom bungee to a cinder block with a rope. Because of how portable and quick the setup and take down is, I was able to set it up in my office building’s storage room in less than 5 minutes. After 3 one hour uses, I don’t really have any complaints. It does what it’s supposed to do. I’ve even hit it with a few power shots to see how the bladder would hold up and so far so good. Would I recommend it? It depends. If you’re looking for something temporary, sure. If you’re looking for something long term I’d suggest Title or Ringside’s leather bags instead. But I could be wrong and this Everlast bag lasts just as long, but I wouldn’t count on it. If anything changes I’ll update my review. I’ve attached a video showing the bag in action. ... show more

  • READ IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO INFLATE
so here is what you do. Listen up. At the bottom of the ball there is an orange thing that you are going to stick the needle in and begin pumping. When it is filled up to your liking. You are going to grab that orange thing and pull it out. That closes the valve that releases air. That is how you fill it up the rest is self explanatory. If you do not grab the orange thing and pull on it, air will just keep coming out. ... show more

  • Everlast never lasts.
Just another bad review, one of the many on any given everlast product. I ordered this bag, even with the bad reviews. It was going to be for very light work and I have used everlast products in the past, wasn't the best but it did the trick for light work. I thought, "hey bladders are always cheap, and it shouldn't last any less than other products," but everlast never ceases to go above and beyond just a bad product. I used the bag once and it was done. The glue on the bladder, where you insert the pump couldn't hold and compromised the bag and let it deflate. I contacted them, expecting some sympathy, it's not a surprise their products are terrible, but I can't even get free shipping on a bag that most likely costs them less than 25 cents. I don't mind buying a new bladder, but why would I pay $8 shipping when the whole product (bladder and bag) cost $20? What will be different? It will compromise again if not pop. $4 isn't the problem. $12 total replacement on a bag that cost me $20 is. No one would do a repair on a car or a tv, if it cost the price of a new car or tv. I don't recommend buying this product or any of their products. Things happen, but when they can't give a little sympathy over an item that costs them close to nothing, that's something I can't understand. If you train hard, spend a little bit of extra money and get legit products. I would never use their gloves, that's why I got a nice pair from ringside. And I sure as hell wouldn't trust them on a speedbag platform. That's why I spent the money and got a serious product, from a company that takes themselves seriously. ... show more

  • Best exercise I got was running to the store to replace it.
Junk. On the first use,the cheap bungee chords slipped their hook, and winged me off the head. OK, my mistake for trusting a cheap chord. On the fourth use, the bladder inside slipped off the pump hole and deflated. Tried like mad but I can't get it back on the nipple attachment. Complete waste. Boxing is dangerous enough without using sub-par equipment. ... show more

  • You Get What You Pay For
Wow, what poor quality! I have an everlast heavy bag which is perfect. Thought I’d give this a try. The cords are not adjustable so you will have to buy new ones to advise the height. Both of the mounting brackets broke. Literally just snapped after light use. The ball is a pain to inflate. The leather bag is frayed and cheap. Seriously, just buy a nice bag, go to the hardware store for the rest. It will save you time and you will have a better product. Don’t buy this. ... show more

  • Deflation Problems
This is actually the second one of these I ordered. I thought the first one and its issues might be a one off but both of the units I ordered, after moderate use in a clean dry space, lost inflation and will not inflate again or hold any air. I noticed my second one was completely deflated yesterday. Pumped it back up. Seemed okay. 10 minutes later, completely deflated. Both had the same issue. I will not be buying another. ... show more

  • Inexpensive
Used this product for about a year and it’s still in decent shape. I was worried about the durability bc of cheaper price. Mostly used 16oz, but even without gloves the bag holds up well.

  • Great striker!
Have used this for over a month now, and it is an excellent bag, especially for the price. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews for this bag, people must not know how to use it, or are using it inappropriately. But even with a hard workout on it, this bag will take a beating and keep coming back for more. I suggest, if you are unfamiliar with technique, that you check out some youtube videos on using a double end striker bag. ... show more
