This car stereo unit is a massive upgrade for any older vehicle. The first thing you notice when it arrives is the size of the screen. I installed this double DIN head unit to replace the factory stereo, mainly because I wanted wireless Apple CarPlay and a backup camera without spending a fortune on one of the premium brands. It has been a nice upgrade and makes the interior feel much more modern. The 7-inch touchscreen is bright and easy to read, and the menus are simple enough that I didn't have to spend much time figuring everything out. Wireless Apple CarPlay connected quickly, and it's nice being able to get in the car and have navigation, music, and messages available without plugging my phone in every time. I also tested Android Auto with another phone, and it worked just as well. Bluetooth pairing was quick, and call quality has been clear on both ends. Music streams smoothly, and switching between Bluetooth audio, FM radio, and CarPlay is straightforward. I also like having physical buttons alongside the touchscreen for quick adjustments while driving. The included backup camera is a nice bonus. The picture is clear enough for parking and backing into tighter spaces, especially at night. Having that extra visibility makes everyday driving more convenient than relying on mirrors alone. Mirror Link worked well for displaying compatible apps from my phone, and I appreciate that the stereo also supports steering wheel controls and a subwoofer output. This Double DIN stereo feels like a good value for the price. The unit has a clean touchscreen, reasonably solid construction, and includes an impressive assortment of wiring harnesses, RCA connections, camera/video hookups, and installation accessories. The labeled wiring should help make installation easier. I installed this double-din radio as an affordable upgrade for my older Toyota Corolla. Installation went smoothly, the unit fit well and all wires connected successfully. The unit powers on and automatically connects to my phone via android auto. Setup was very straightforward with prompt commands, and I was able to begin using the car radio immediately without a ton of steps to go through. The screen is very touch responsive and I like that there are some manual push buttons for common functions. I love that my older car is now equipped with a GPS system as well as voice-assistant through this radio. There seems to be a lot that this radio can do and I have yet to explore all of the features. I do enjoy listening to music with this radio. The system does not push super loud audio, but the sound quality is clear and not muddy. The unit works well but it is not perfect and since using it for about a month, I have noticed there is sometimes wireless reconnection issues after disconnect and there is slight lagging with the "+" push button response time. But overall, the unit performs well and it makes a great upgrade in my older vehicle! ... show more

This head unit honestly surprised me. I’ve installed and tested quite a few budget Android Auto and Apple CarPlay stereos over the years, and many of them have the same issues: slow startup, unreliable wireless connections, and laggy performance. This one seems to have worked out those problems. It powers up quickly, connects to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto almost immediately, and has been very reliable during everyday use. That alone makes it stand out from many others in this price range. The touchscreen is responsive, the included features offer a lot of value, and everything worked exactly as advertised.
