Sturdy, easy to put together with help. Directons were clear and easy to follow. I'm 6ft 200lbs and can climb on the top with no worries. My little one loves it! Overall quality material and well made!

Arrived in one box, clear instructions, nothing missing, one of the steps for the ladder had two small cracks, we put that one on the bottom. Good quality, my granddaughter loves it!

  • Good value for the price
Color: Grey
We ordered this for our daughters to make room for our 3rd child coming soon. We didn't want to spend much on a bunk bed because it is a temporary solution until we find a more permanent living location. We also didn't want to buy a metal bunk. Our kids are 2 and 6. We ordered the gray color to match the other furniture in the room. This item did take longer than most Prime items. It took about a week, though it had arrived in our city two days prior to the delivery and FedEx had a note in the tracking "does not have to be delivered today." When it arrived, the box was slightly damaged but nothing alarming. When opening the box, we were surprised how exact the color was and the packaging to our crib/dresser by Stork Craft. Everything looked the same, including the tools and packaging. That set off some alarms because our Stork Craft Furniture for the dress came in broken, and was missing 1 bolt. It's best to give yourself plenty of space when separating the materials. For us, we built some of it in our living room because of how much space the full size took up. Then we connected it all in their bedroom. It does take a while to set up with a lot of patience. Some of the problems we had, first we had difficulty with some connections with the hex nuts with the bolts. It had to line up just right, otherwise it would not connect, and just took some time adjusting different bolts to loosen other connections to make things work. The guard rail did not line up if following the steps accordingly. We had to remove some bolts from a previous step, attach the guard rail, and then bolt the sides in. So, we had to do a few steps backwards in order to go forward. Now for the material problems. For the full size portion, the top decorative part of the front and back rails (head and foot board) were broken. The top piece was not glued in. This is a simple fix with wood glue, and not a problem when the top bunks connects to the bottom, but still broken. Secondly, one of the Q's, it's a support piece for the side rails of the top bunk, it did not have a pre-drilled opening to put the screw in. We saw a small mark, and when trying to manually screw in, a hole punched right through the board. So, this was a manufacturing error. It's as if the hole was completely made, versus only half way to flush the screw inside. So, this entire piece will not work. Finally one of the hex nuts was not made correctly, so none of the screws for that piece will go through to finish one of the frame connections. It looks distorted and angled. Also, the slats for the twin/upper deck of the bunk bed, 4 our of the 7 slats are not drilled correctly, and impossible to make contact with the bed with the screws that are meant to do with it. The manual does say if parts are missing or damaged to call their own customer service line for free replacements. This is the same info Stork Craft had, and replacement parts took about a week to arrive, so I expect the same with this. So, I will be calling for replacement parts. For quality, I am going to add more slats to the bottom deck/full size. There are large gabs in between the slats they provided, and think adding more slats will be more stable versus adding a simple plywood, plus the bottom bunk is mainly for our 2 year old to use. The upper bunk has plenty of slats, but I did read others saying plywood helped a lot. Since the top bunk is smaller, I will be doing the same, buying plywood for the top bunk. Overall, in general we are pleased with the cost. We did get a discount from Amazon for the damaged item, but I would recommend based on the quality and price. Just a little manual labor, and you may have some broken or missing parts but with free replacement it shouldn't be a huge deal breaker. I would buy again or recommend for anyone on a budget. Also the bed can be separated for future individual use. ... show more

  • Great value and straightforward assembly.
Color: White
We wanted to convert the gym in our home to a children's bedroom for when our grandchildren visit (ages 3 and 5). We wanted a bunk bed that would allow us to maximize the floor space for the kids, but also wanted something larger than a twin in the event we had a houseful of company and needed to put adults in there. We looked at the local stores but didn't find anything we liked, and everything we saw was $500 and up plus delivery and set up...so I did some web surfing and found this bed walmart.com. It fit our needs, looked okay, and the price was certainly good. But if you have dealt with a WalMart store in recent years, you know how difficult they have become when it comes to returns or issues with a purchase. So I went to Amazon (my preferred online shopping source) and found the same item for essentially the same price. Done deal. I also bought two memory foam mattresses and the total delivered price was less than just the beds we saw locally. Delivery was earlier than expected and UPS and even brought the (heavy) box inside. All the parts were there and my wife re-labeled everything for ease of set up. Instructions were good with adequate detiail, and the hardware was all numbered and blister packed, so the assembly went like clock work. I have a tip for you handymen. Toss the free Allen wrench they supplied, look in your security bit assortment and use your screw gun or drill (my bits are from a Harbor Freight set I bought for under $10 and I have used it a lot). You will save yourself hours and the finished product will be more secure. The total time from opening the box to finished product was under 6 hours. I am more confident in the bed and my own assembly than if a delivery crew did a rush job for a bed that my grandchildren will sleep on. ... show more

  • Really nice bunk bed
Color: Grey
I love this bed. We had a metal frame bunk bed that broke in no time at all. So we ordered this one to replace it. This bed is sturdy solid wood. It was easy for me and my husband to put together. We did have some bolts that were the wrong for. They gave to many of the wrong part and not enough of the one we needed. So we went to the hardware store to get the right screws to finish it up. Overall it’s a great bed for the price. Very happy with the purchase ... show more

Delivered very fast, perfect color match, easy to assemble but unfortunately one of the main sides came cracked. Tried to get help but just got the run around. Tried calling, tried online but no help. If it wasn’t damage it would be a five star.
