This moisturizing conditioner is fantastic! Firstly, the scent is absolutely incredible! It says it smells like sweet potato pie, so I assumed it would have a light scent that resembles something that's supposed to smell like sweet potato pie. Boy was I wrong! This bottle smells like you're baking a homemade sweet potato pie right under your nose! The scent is strong, but perfectly strong if you know what I mean. It smells just mouth watering! My Grammy said she didn't smell sweet potato pie, but everyone else has. I've let everyone smell this haha. Not only does it smell wonderful, but it actually works really well too. My hair dries out easy and this conditioner keeps it moisturized and soft. People can smell the scent a couple days after I wash my hair and I've received many compliments on the scent of my hair. It comes in a decent size bottle, so it can be used for a while. I really love this conditioner! When my bottle is close to empty, I'm definitely ordering another bottle. It absorbs into my hair really well, feels good and soft, and as I said the scent is the best! I absolutely recommend buying this bottle of conditioner. I would LOVE to have a matching shampoo to go along with this conditioner. If you're looking for a great bottle of conditioner that smells heavenly, this is the one to buy!

First off, I am ‘extremely picky’ when it comes to hair products. I have extremely long, thick, naturally curly hair that reaches past the bottom of my back & beyond.😉(Also fine). So when I say I’m picky, I mean that my hair is. It takes a good product to be able to tame this while red head of hair. When I first tried Donna’s Recipe out… I really didn’t know what to expect. I really liked that it had a nice but lite scent that isn’t overpowering. It’s rich & creamy white. I only used around a tablespoon on my hair when I tried it too. I wanted to see exactly what it was made of. That being said, I am extremely happy with the results. My hair is really smooth, shiny & doesn’t have all that frizz. This is definitely a high end product. That small amount tamed my hair without any other product assisting it. I also didn’t mention that, according to every hair dresser thats ever touched my head, I have enough hair on head for over 10 people. Point being, this is an impressive blend that works really well at what it says it does. This conditioner came with an inner seal but no outer seal or tape on the bottle. It does have a complete list of all ingredients on the bottle so if you have any allergens, you can be aware of them. It has a very nice, pleasant scent. It is a thick, creamy white consistency. You need very little to work through your hair, which is good because it's a small bottle. I have very thick, coarse grey hair and usually I need to use a lot of conditioner but with this brand, I only needed a very small amount in my palm and was able to work it through my hair. It says to leave in your hair for 5-10 minutes but I only left it in for maybe 4-5 minutes while I finished my shower. The conditioner worked very very well on my coarse wavy (used to be very curly) hair. My hair feels very soft and it tamed most of the frizz, even after blow drying it. While the bottle is small, I used much less then I normally would so it would turn out to be fairly economical. It is called Sweet Potato but that is the 7th ingredient on the list so I'm not sure how much that enters into the equation. There is actually quite a lot of oils in this product including - Coconut oil, aloe, shea butter, avocado oil, castor oil, mango seed butter, hydrogenated vegetable oil, sunflower seed oil, etc. in addition to sweet potato extract and cinnamon extract. I'm sure they all assist the product in conditioning your hair along with the sweet potato. I would definitely buy it again. It worked and it was easy to rinse out.

This smells SO good, definitely smells like sweet potato pie or at least sweet potato casserole! I've never tried a mainstream hair care product with this kind of scent before, I love it. It performs great as a conditioner as well.
