As part of our most stable line of sport performance bracing products, the DonJoy Performance BIONIC FULLSTOP ACL Knee Brace provides the ultimate in Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) protection during recovery from injury, as well as prevention of future injury. FULLSTOP dampening hinges prevent hyperextension and help improve joint mechanics in both surgical and non- surgical knees. Through the dampening cycle of the hinge, muscle memory trains your body to keep both the braced and un-braced knees out of the "at risk" zone. Compression and thermal heat regulation technology in the brace keep you from overheating during exertion. Anti-migration technology prevents sleeve movement, even during your movement. The adjustable straps on the brace enable users to have greater customizability for a more secure, personal fit. The brace is also equipped with reflectivity for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions. My measurements came out to Medium and it was tight on my calf. I returned for a Large, which fits better, but is still a bit tight. I'm pondering if I should have gotten XL for full comfort. The tricky thing with this brace is that it is hinges attached to a sleeve, so if the sleeve is too tight you have no way to loosen that aspect of it. But the knee hinge factor is excellent, and you'll immediate feel support and freedom when you have it on. In the very least, go one size up, if not two. If it wasn't for the sizing issues I'd give 5 stars. ... show more

I tore my ACL, meniscus, cartilage, and fractured my femur, and I cannot have surgery, so there is very little holding my knee in place. My knee just gives out and I fall. I paid $1600 AFTER insurance for a brace from my orthopedist, and it did not work at all. But THIS BRACE has been an absolute lifesaver! Very disappointed with this product. Although it seemed great at first and it supported my knee well initially, after 5 weeks it is falling apart. The glue that attached the pad to the hinge is peeling off so the support is not as good. I'm supposed to continue to wear it but i would like to exchange it, maybe it's just a bad one. ... show more

I was looking for a replacement for a Bellhorn brace that has worked well for years, but is no longer available. This came highly recommended by some personal trainers, but it’s at least twice as heavy as my old brace and the four Velcro straps do not work as well. In addition, the rubber tips of the Velcro straps, scratch my other leg as I run. In order to alleviate this, I ended up buying a cheap compression sleeve for my other knee. Unfortunately, the rubber parts can’t be cut off since that’s the only part that has the Velcro hooks. WARNING: do not buy online directly from DonJoy! I ordered from there first using a coupon to get 15% off a few weeks before a tournament where I needed the brace. After 10 days, I called to see where my brace was, and they said it was backordered. I immediately cancelled the order and bought it on Amazon with two day shipping, but the next day my DonJoy brace showed up. I was charged the full price! They provided free return shipping, which I did immediately. However, it’s two weeks later, and I still don’t have my refund. ... show more

I tore my ACL and MCL and fractured my tibia and I have lost a lot of muscle and it’s very hard to even walk. When I put this on it’s almost like an exoskeleton, it’s truly amazing how much I can do with a broken leg and torn ligaments when I wear this I can run and jump with no pain. I can do so much with this brace as if my leg was perfectly fine. I have tried so many other braces and support options with only partial support and help but this brace easily surpasses them and blows them away.
