Arrived in 4 bxs over 3 days. One box was heavily damaged. Hardware had broken open. Spent an hour sorting and counting hardware. A few fasteners short. They quickly sent out parts. Paid to 2 guys to assemble. Took 6 hours. Overall, Everything well packaged and protected, one box was destroyed in shipping, hardware package was shredded. Had a few very minor dents/dings, likely before being shipped. Not enough to justify returning. Instructions were sufficient, some tight fits. Assemblers said they rate an 8 on ease of assembly. Curtains are nice. Anchored on PVC Timbertech deck with stainless steel woodloc screws into wooden block fastened to joists. Looks beautiful. Seems well made and sturdy.

I did quite a bit of investigating similar gazebos before I selected Domi. I had debated whether to get one made of cedar but opted for this one that is metal with the look of wood. We've already had compliments regarding the wood "look" and we are very happy with it. Since I previously stated I did quite a bit of investigation, the one fact for almost all of the gazebos in this category (metal roofs) was how difficult it was to assemble. I would say it was challenging mostly because of the amount and different nuts and screws required for the assembly. Some of the directions were a bit confusing but if you take the time to read all of the instructions before starting, then read and reread each step before jumping in, you should be OK. I am 71 years old and my wife is 73. Except for the help of our neighbor for 10 minutes to put the roof supports up, we assembled this gazebo entirely ourselves. It took us about 5 days to complete but that was working only about 4 - 5 hours a day. Except for 2 missing screws (out of over 400 and which supplier replaced within a week) everything was extremely well documented and referenced within assembly instructions. Now for the most important recommendation I can give anyone assembling this gazebo. It is not mentioned in the instructions and I only realized it after I completed steps only to go back and redo the steps. As you assemble this gazebo, DO NOT tighten all the nuts and bolts. As I put things together I found I was struggling to get the final pieces to fit together. I went back and loosened the pertinent nuts and bolts and sure enough, it fit together perfectly. I found this out specifically when putting the roof structures together and then also when putting the roof partitions on. Once that happened, I started to not tighten any of the roof nuts and bolts for a side until finished. That worked fine until I realized the difficulty holding the bolts toward the top of the gazebo. Couldn't reach them. Here's is another trick I discovered. Instead of trying to crawl on top of the roof of the gazebo to hold the bolt while someone tightens the nut on the inside of the gazebo, I found that by using my impact drill with a socket on it, I could tighten the nuts from the inside of the gazebo without having to hold the bolt in place from the top of the roof. Anyway, I hope these suggestions can help someone in the future. Overall, we love the gazebo so far. I don't intend taking this down during the winter as we did our previous one and it looks like it is very sturdy and well built.

It's a lot of parts and be prepared to spend a few days building it unless you have a lot of people and even then the directions may slow you down. You will need at least 2 people. The directions can be tricky and could definitely use more information but if you are mechanically inclined and a natural troubleshooter, you should be fine. Just take it slow because some areas of instruction are tricky. The curtains are nice but I wonder when summer comes around, if the pesky mosquitos will make their way through the gaps on top of the curtains. Also the screens for the top portion of the gazebo don't exactly sit flush so there are small gaps there too. Gutters are nice but small so in a downpour they won't be very effective. I did have a question and the seller responded in about a day. The video they have in the photos section is really good to get you started. Get a drill with torque control and a socket set. You will hate your life if you try to assemble this with the wrenches they provide.

Two of the roof pieces did not fit properly and we had to cut them a bit to get them to fit. The size is great and we love the curtains. Took mostly 2 people but needed a third to get the roof started. The video helps.

I have had this gazebo for a month and a half. First I must say…it is beautiful. Since putting it together I have been using it just about every day. We have had plenty of rain and some pretty strong winds but it has had no issues. Now here are my issues. First the instructions are not as good as they can or should be. They are way to confusing. I could see anyone who is not use to assembling anything having a heck of a time. Fortunately I am not that person. Secondly attaching the metal roof is harder then it should be. Especially the plastic pieces that come with it. Secondly, I am disappointed that you are unable to purchase a set of curtains separately in case you may need them down the line. Don’t get me wrong but they are not made to last forever with any gazebo so I’d like to have them on hand since the way they are attached would make it harder to purchase elsewhere. Believe me I contacted the company and was told that they don’t sell them separately. Bottom line I love the gazebo. My friends and family love the look (so do I) and I love the sturdiness as well. Still these things should be taken into consideration before buying. If those things don’t bother you, you won’t be disappointed.
