It is a fabulous gazebo. I used a few tricks I believe made it easier to assemble the roof. 1. i used contact bond cement to bond the plastic strips to the roof panels. I also used contact bond cement to attach the rubber corrugation standoff to the support bars to make it easier to install the roof panels. I had No issues with the fit of everything. just be sure to follow the manual and you will be fine. I also ran outdoor romex up the center triangular poles and on up to the top, under the roof mount and hid the wire all the way to the top. and Installed a ceiling fan. Don’t be fooled by the high ratings not to say the product isnt of decent quality but it’s a pain to put together. 2 people 2 ladders and 12-15 hours over 2 days. And this is for a mechanically inclined set of people Most of the install is easy enough Although tedious. The worst of it is the top layer of metal panels followed by the bottom layer of panels which aren’t as frustrating but there are much more of them. You’re purchasing a true weekend project here! Great looking, not too bad assembling just would have liked little more info on assembling. A person needs to know don't tighten the frame bolts until roof is on. Frame needs to shift some when installing the roof sections.

Looks great when finished and I'm happy we bought it BUT I believed a couples's video my husband and I watched saying it took them two days to assemble. We spent an entire week and three days on it and needed a third person often to help with minor chores, like picking up the Z bars that fell from the roof when we tried to insert them. The roof was the most difficult part. I wish there were more words in the instructions and better diagrams or an instructional video made by the company. The one video they referred me to had me watching the worker's chickens and seeing him meditate. Also, zipping the main curtain up every time you go in or come out is tiring. Magnets on one entry point might have been another option. When I emailed the company, because we had difficulty placing the curtains in the proper place, they said to refer to the directions. Now that it's assembled, I like it but be prepared to spend a lot of time on it. ... show more

Domi is a great company, who stands by their product . A piece was missing and was sent within a few days. The was slight damage to a leg post due to high winds and since I was within 12 month warranty, a new leg post was sent. I did quite a bit of investigating similar gazebos before I selected Domi. I had debated whether to get one made of cedar but opted for this one that is metal with the look of wood. We've already had compliments regarding the wood "look" and we are very happy with it. Since I previously stated I did quite a bit of investigation, the one fact for almost all of the gazebos in this category (metal roofs) was how difficult it was to assemble. I would say it was challenging mostly because of the amount and different nuts and screws required for the assembly. Some of the directions were a bit confusing but if you take the time to read all of the instructions before starting, then read and reread each step before jumping in, you should be OK. I am 71 years old and my wife is 73. Except for the help of our neighbor for 10 minutes to put the roof supports up, we assembled this gazebo entirely ourselves. It took us about 5 days to complete but that was working only about 4 - 5 hours a day. Except for 2 missing screws (out of over 400 and which supplier replaced within a week) everything was extremely well documented and referenced within assembly instructions. Now for the most important recommendation I can give anyone assembling this gazebo. It is not mentioned in the instructions and I only realized it after I completed steps only to go back and redo the steps. As you assemble this gazebo, DO NOT tighten all the nuts and bolts. As I put things together I found I was struggling to get the final pieces to fit together. I went back and loosened the pertinent nuts and bolts and sure enough, it fit together perfectly. I found this out specifically when putting the roof structures together and then also when putting the roof partitions on. Once that happened, I started to not tighten any of the roof nuts and bolts for a side until finished. That worked fine until I realized the difficulty holding the bolts toward the top of the gazebo. Couldn't reach them. Here's is another trick I discovered. Instead of trying to crawl on top of the roof of the gazebo to hold the bolt while someone tightens the nut on the inside of the gazebo, I found that by using my impact drill with a socket on it, I could tighten the nuts from the inside of the gazebo without having to hold the bolt in place from the top of the roof. Anyway, I hope these suggestions can help someone in the future. Overall, we love the gazebo so far. I don't intend taking this down during the winter as we did our previous one and it looks like it is very sturdy and well built. ... show more

L did not realize till after the fact that the spot weld on one of my hooks was not welded to the attaching plate. Check this plate first before assembling or it will be to late and you will not feel safe putting a fan up. My resolution from Domi was to reweld it…No kidding… Not everyone has a welder. Said they would compensate, never heard back. Other than that it’s well made. ... show more
