I am extremely impressed with this covered pergola kit. From start to finish, it was much easier to assemble than I expected, and the finished product is incredibly sturdy. I built the entire pergola by myself, with only a few moments where I needed a second person to hold a piece in place while I started the bolts. The whole project took me about 5 hours, and that was without rushing. The instructions were straightforward, the parts fit together well, and the overall build process was very smooth. The only part that slowed me down was removing the protective film from the roof panels. It wasn’t difficult at all, just a little time-consuming. Pro tip: If you have kids who want to help with the project, this is the perfect job for them! Just make sure they wear gloves because the edges of the panels can be sharp. I can’t speak yet to how it will hold up over years of weather exposure, but based on the quality of the materials and how solid it feels once assembled, I am very confident. This thing is very sturdy and feels like it will last. Overall, I highly recommend this pergola kit. In fact, I liked it so much that I am already looking for another one in a different size to add to another area of my property.

I am absolutely pleased with this purchase. I took four weeks to decide on which structure to buy and I am so glad I chose this one. It arrived super quick, about two days I think and all three boxes arrived at the same time. It was somewhat labor intensive and took about a day and a half to complete. I am a 37-year-old woman and I completed the entire frame and only needed help for attaching the roof panels. For the roof panels it is very helpful to have two people one underneath and one above. When building try to make sure that you keep the frame square so that all holes lineup well and if you run into any holes that won’t lineup perfectly for the roof panels, take a screwdriver and insert it into the hole and use a little force to get it to lineup. There was a lot of protective plastic wrap that you had to take off of the roof panels, but I appreciate that it was there because it keeps it from getting scratched during transport. There was no rust on any of the parts and altogether this is a very nice structure. You absolutely cannot beat it for this price point. Once attached to the house, it is very stable and solid. It functions just as it should and provides much needed shade that I was needing. There was a couple of spots that had small dents but with shipping something this big I suppose that is bound to happen. The seller was super quick at responding to me about these dents and made sure that their customer was happy. All in all I am completely satisfied with the structure and customer service I received.

Despite what some say, this will require several hours to put together, as in 15-20 hours. Most of it can be built by one person, but two people will be needed in a few spots, if just for a few minutes. Once built, it is pretty sturdy. It nicely keeps the rain out and protects me from the high sun. We’ve had a few wind storms and it’s still standing strong. I set up my grilling station under it and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a good value for the price.

Very well engineered, very precise fit of all parts. Complete hardware including screws to mount onto deck, plus a few extra fasteners (in case one dropped or lost). Also very well packaged with each piece wrapped in plastic, no scratches. Very nice looking, good paint finish. Appears to be very sturdy, will find out this coming winter in Northeast Ohio snowbelt!

So far this purchase has been a nightmare. Damaged parts with no response from the company. Parts dont fit together right and you have to make them work. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone. With so many problems Inwould worry it will fail when the snow comes. More updates coming soon…

I am happy with my purchase, it is exactly what I was looking for. Once I familiarized myself with the instructions it was fairly easy to put together. I am a single woman and only needed help to assemble the sides after I had both headers ready. It’s sturdy and looks good.

This "gazebo"/Leanto, is solid for the money. While the description says that it is aluminum, it is actually steel, so it's a bit heavier, I think steel is a better material for something that will have to hold up to the wind. I installed this on my deck with the help of a friend, it took about 4 hours. Instructions were excellent and everything went together exactly as it should (The screw holes and screws lined up perfectly, nothing was of questionable quality at all. It rained and got really windy the night after we put it up and it really held up well, it didn't even budge (I hadn't screwed it down yet). The hardest part about the install was the fact that the unit is exactly the same size as my deck, so I had to perform a couple of questionable maneuvers standing on the railing of my deck while installing the last couple of roof panels. If you are putting this on a low patio or larger deck, you'll have no problems at all just using a ladder. (Note looking the pictures, that the gazebo looks like it's not level, but it's because my deck support posts aren't level that it makes it look that way)
