The one thing that got me is that when paired by Bluetooth you cannot switch to other stations to listen to music on FM Radio for example. We used it the same day it was delivered. Charged it for about 3 hours lasted for 8 hours plus the next day cleaning time! Easy to use, crisp sound for all genre of music. We purchased for the backyard listening and gatherings. Speaker is light and durable to move around the grassy area. I just wished it had an app for remote to have a visual for the equalizer when switching music generas while at our seats. Other than that, highly recommend this product. ... show more

Not as loud as I thought it would be at 3400w. Sounds great indoors but outdoor sound doesn't seem as loud..Just got it so, still trying to adjust the equalizers to get that awesome sound quality.

I've only had the speaker for a day. 4 hours of play time on unit so far. Negative: User manual could be more detailed - no guidance for operating the remote control. Not a huge big deal. With trial & error, you can figure it out. Positives: Solidly built speaker. EQ setting should be in the shape of a "W". X-Bass should be set to midway point. I'm using a TF card to play music - the sound quality is excellent. And it's loud with a thumping bass. Keep in mind, this is only after a couple of hours of usage - should sound even better after breaking in a little. This thing would certainly get it done at a tailgate or any outside party. House shakes when on mid volume indoors. For the $170 (on sale) it's a fantastic value. Can't comment on battery life yet because I just haven't used it enough. Will give a subsequent update. Update: Have used at half volume for 8 hours - still going strong. ... show more

    • DON'T BUY THIS - Only Lasted One Year!
It worked for one year before completely dying on me. One day I went to turn it on, and it wouldn't. It won't turn on either plugged in or on battery power. It's just dead. I emailed Dolphin Support to give them a chance to help before I went public with a bad review. They suggested the battery cable was loose. I confirmed it was not. They asked for my order number - I gave it to them. Then they asked who the seller was - which I informed them was THEM, through Amazon. Then they stopped responding. I sent three more emails over the next eight days but they completely stopped responding. So here we are. You've been warned. ... show more

Man this Speaker right here, is the truth!!! Previously I purchased Altex party speaker it sucked, so I returned it. This has the light show, excellent mic, Mega Hella Bass.! Also has FM radio and built in equalizer and comes with other stuff I haven't even looked at. This thing is so BIG and Heavy! Looks and sounds like stereo equipment you find at the Dance Club. It so loud, I can't turn it all the way up with out it hurting my ears. The Dolphin is wear to invest your money for an excellent house party speaker. Can't believe it was cheaper and out performed top name brand garbage. I Highly recommend this Dolphin party speaker! Excellent for everything you can imagine!     • It’s a solid build.
It sounds great , not sure about the battery life, I was running a couple of generators, and I might have let the generator put too much juice in the battery, So my battery didn’t last too long . That might have been my fault. Buyer be ware. I still use this in and outside with the cord.
