  • PLEASE CHECK WITH A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO DETERMINE IF YOU HAVE THE PROPER WIRING
  • Hands Free: Enjoy the convenience of hands-free lighting control. The motion light switch detects your presence and activates the lights, eliminating the need to fumble for switches in the dark
  • High Quality: Electrical wall switches have UL Certified, FCC Listed and California Title 24 Compliant. Electric switch works with 300W LED, 300W CFL and 600W incandescent light bulbs on the market
  • OCC / VAC Modes: OCC Mode automatically turns on the lights when motion is detected and turns them off when the space is unoccupied. VAC Mode requires manual activation, making it ideal for rooms where motion might be sporadic
  • Customization: Motion activated light switch with adjustable time delays, sensitivity, and light level sensing, you have complete control over how the sensor switch functions in your space

  • works as expected, highly recommended
I've been looking for exactly this type of motion sensor control for a long time. The last one I tried almost works (not sure the brand) and looks exactly the same be behaves differently - it would turn off the light after the delay time, even if motion was detected - the light would be off for a few seconds and then would trigger if I waved my hand. So no matter what I would be in the dark for a few seconds. This one (ECOELER) will do something we in electronics would call retriggering, if any motion was detected before the end of the delay time, it would re-start the delay time, no dark time - lights would stay on until no more motion detected and the end of the delay time was reached. I've tried this on 2 of the units I've bought and both behave the same and quite reliably - some have stated they got false triggers (when it turns on by itself with no motion detect), I did not see any false triggers so far (been using for about 3 weeks now), always turns on ONLY if motion detected and always turns off after about the correct delay time. I'm using this on LED lighting (didn't try any other types of lighting or load), no problems. I DID set the sensitivity and ambient levels both to 5 (maybe this caused false triggers for some people). I didn't need ambient so I set it to 5 (instructions say this is off)(ambient allows the light to stay off if there is already enough background light). I didn't need sensitivity so high but it seems to work anyway (I only need short sensitivity but don't mind long so I set it to max long, 5) - it seems to have about a 90 degree detection cone (+/-45 degree from center). Time delay I set to 1min at first and this worked ok but a bit too short, now set to 5 min and this is just right for me. Note that all three of these settings are analog rotary trim potentiometers (variable resistors) so they are approximate. I only used occupancy mode, did not try vacancy mode(my understanding is vacancy mode means manual turn on, auto time off with no retrigger, that is, it turns off after the delay time, motion is not detected or used). I can see how this may be a useful feature for some but not for my case, I wanted hands free operation and in one case, the switch is located far away, awkward to reach . I've only seen this type of retriggering motion detection on an outdoor security light and that one did not always trigger properly when I moved into range, and I think it was much more expensive (but it was a whole fixture, not just a wall module). Another type of motion detector I've had used a separate wireless battery (3AAA) sensor that sends a signal to the main controller. This worked reliably but needed to change the batteries every year and eventually I forgot, and when I remembered to change them, the batteries had leaked and corroded the guts. Also it was NOT a retrigger sensor and so it always left me in the dark for a few seconds before the next trigger (not really bad but still annoying). Now I've switched to this ECOELER and won't look back. This is the BEST, highly recommended! ... show more

  • Almost perfect, great seller to work with
Update: the seller has been AMAZING to work with to address my concerns. They really cared about my issue, didn't request anything ridiculous in order to resolve the issue and had a replacement to me very very quickly. Awesome product but 1 of the 4 seems to turn itself on randomly.

  • Good Functionality and Easy to Install.
Easy to install and functional as I have expected. Will have these installed more around my house.

  • Easy to adjust for your needs.
Installed 4 of these. Quick and easy install. Set 3 of them to turn on automatically and adjusted the time they stay on after no motion detected. The last one I connected to a bathroom fan. I didn’t want the fan to turn on for every bathroom visit so I set that on for manual activation and set time to remain on. Very handy switches and a great price. ... show more

  • Some are defective
We bought a box of 4. They sat for 6 months while we built our home so we are just getting around to installing them. One has worked for a month now just fine. One has been installed for a week and sometimes doesn't respond to movement. One was broken in the packaging. We haven't tried the last one yet. Fingers crossed... ... show more

  • Good product at great price
I replaced several manual switches in windowless rooms (pantry, walk-in closet, bathrooms) with these clever occupancy/vacancy sensor switches. Installation was easy, and so is the programming of range, light sensitivity, and turn-off delay via 3 small dials underneath the manual on/off switch. The switches work exactly as advertised, and what more could you ask for? Buying a 4 pack of these devices saved me considerable $ compared to national hardware store chains. ... show more

  • Exactly what I ordered and works as described. Exactly what I ordered and works as described.
Works just like it should. I found a handy little way to adjust the dials so you don't have to go searching for a screwdriver that fits these because you will find that after 1st installing these that the sensor's are a little bit sensitive and it will take time to adjust them, Just as I have found with most other motion sensor's, and you will probably have to do it quite often at 1st. Originally I got these to put in where the ceiling fan switch is in our bathrooms because the kids were constantly leaving the ceiling fan running. I have now switched these over to vacation mode which the sensor timer sensor takes over and shuts it off after a certain amount of time after turning them on manually which was not the original intent for these but still works for our issue. when I had the vacation mode off the everyone was getting annoyed because every time they would go into the bathroom the ceiling fans would come on but however with the vacation mode on they work just like a timer so the ceiling fan issue is not an issue anymore. ... show more

  • Lower energy bill
The lights no longer stay on forever because the kids refuse to turn the light off when they leave a room! They are easy to install and we haven’t had any issues.
