This swingset is the perfect footprint for our yard. I currently have a 3.5 year old and a 5 month old so I anticipate getting years of use out of this. It isn't the largest swingset (in terms of height), but it is perfect for my kiddo who is scared of heights. The slide is a good height for him, but I don't think this set would work for older kids as the slide would probably be too short. In terms of construction, this was the easiest thing to put together! Each step was labeled clearly and the hardware for each step was individually packaged so no searching through screws trying to make sure you have the correct one. They include plenty of spare parts as well as the drill bits you might need (although most of the holes were pre-drilled). It took a few days for us to put together because we worked on it in the evening after work. I definitely recommend having two people to put it together, but my husband did the majority of it on his own and he handled it just fine. It is made it cedar and we didn't find any defects with the boards, no cracks and no bowing. The swings are high quality and the chains are covered in rubber so no worries of the chains pinching little fingers. Overall, we are very satisfied with this swingset! ... show more

I was shocked! For this price, I really wasn’t sure what we were going to get. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, the detailed and easy to understand instructions, and the fact that there were no missing or mislabeled parts and nothing was broken or not predrilled. It’s very stable and heavy once constructed and anchored. It’s on the smaller side and best suited for 2-6yr olds, which is what I was looking for. Our toddlers love it and I don’t feel like they are too high off of the ground. It took two adults approx 6 hours to fully construct it, but it was not hard at all. As I mentioned, instructions were some of the best I’ve seen and everything is really clearly labeled. ... show more

Just as a preface, this is definitely a two person job and it has a lot of pieces so it'll take a while but it's definitely worth the buy. It's perfect for my five year old and 7 year old. The wood was a little warped in some places, which I had kept in the garage till assembly so it probably came that way, making it kind of difficult to align properly. So for me it turned out a little crooked but, after anchoring it to the ground it's still pretty sturdy. I'm definitely gonna paint it because it's very orange wood, but overall a good buy and the kids enjoy using it. ... show more

This set arrived in three large boxes that the UPS guy asked me for help to maneuver. It's a substantial quantity of material. But it's solid stuff. The wood appears to be of solid quality, and the organization of the set when it arrived was impeccable. The instructions were primo. Better than IKEA furniture, for example. I never had doubts about where things had to go, and if there were any missteps as I built the set, they were from my inattention. I had a helper digging out the specific pieces that we needed for each step, and I was able to put the whole thing together in a day without rushing. A cordless screwdriver is essential. The result is sturdy and handsome. My daughter loves it. She is out there playing on it as often as possible. I had one issue with the set: a piece was broken during shipping. I reached out to customer service, who were very understanding and on top of it, and a new piece is on the way. Absolutely recommend. ... show more

WE LOVE IT! The materials' quality, the packaging's sturdiness, and the instructions are all top-notch. Given the size, it was very easy to build — just a function of time. No issues for us whatsoever. DOLPHIN is also a fantastic company. They are so considerate and very responsive in their customer support communications. They also saved us! Considerable time had elapsed between ordering it and buying it, and when I went to build it, I realized box 3 of 3 was missing. They fixed it instantly, and the box was shipped to us immediately. Not treated. Took barely a month and it got mold all over. Directions are easy, easy to put together but wood is way too soft to be cedar, stain is terribly done, and molded already. Can't justify spending this much for it.
