The angle grinder itself is a useful with the two batteries included. The batteries took about 3.75 hours to charge. Each. So don’t let both go out at the same time or you’ll be on hold for half a day. There are several disc attachments that seem handy (if inexpensive). I tend to use a grinding wheel to distress wood and that was not included, but I had several on hand. The tool isn’t much quieter than my corded angle grinder, but I do love not having to worry about extension and power cords getting in the way when I’m in the zone. It had plenty of power for working over the wood and I’ve yet to blow through one battery after several short sessions. As to the puzzle box…when I took everything out to play with, I had a real challenge getting everything back into the box and getting it closed. Reminded me of a jenga game in reverse. Between the cheap plastic hinges and the fact that this seems to be a box built to (loosely) fit several tools, it will likely go into the trash. Overall, worth the coin if a cordless tool is something you need to get the job done well.

I love this grinder for many reasons. First, the battery system is compatible with the Makita system. That works out well for me because I've had to use conversion plates to make my DeWalt batteries run the other Makita tools I have. Second, this comes with 5 different grinder blades, PLUS a miniature saw blade. So not only can you cut through nails and grind metal, you also have the ability to use this as a mini saw for wood. Love it. Third, this comes with two batteries, so you never have to worry about running out of power while on a job. The carrying case is solid and secure, making it super convenient to transport. Overall, this is a great product and I'm very satisfied.

This grinder gets the job done, no complaints there. Plenty of power, cordless convenience, and it comes with two batteries, which is always a plus. I’ve used it on a few projects now, and it hasn’t let me down yet. Definitely nice not having to wrestle with an extension cord while trying to work. The grip is comfortable, and the variable speed options are a nice touch. Plus, it plays nice with Makita batteries, which is handy if you’ve already got a collection. That said, the charger feels like it was made out of recycled takeout containers. It works, but I wouldn’t bet my life on its durability. The included discs are usable, but I’d swap them out for better ones when you get the chance. The carrying case is...well, let’s just say it's a puzzle every time I try to put everything back in. But overall, for the price, this is a solid buy if you need a reliable cordless grinder without breaking the bank.

this set is quite impressive, very handy. It's compatible with Makita 18V batteries, which is convenient if you already have tools from that line. The grinder operates at a maximum of 10,000 RPM, powered by a brushless motor, which should offer efficient performance and durability. The 2 Makita clone batts are a plus, but the charger feels like it about as durable as a crouton. Also the item sent to me was used. Now, I don't have an issue with providing tools with a forever home, but there's safety concerns. The breaking mechanism doesn't catch completely and so far it makes a weird screeching sound I haven't experienced with my other 3 grinders.
