I used this comb on my bunny for the few seconds that I could try to comb his beautiful thick lion-head hair. We've only had the bunny for 3 weeks now and I wanted something that would help keep his coat looking pretty and free of tangles. The comb is very comfortable in the hand. It didn't seem to grab much hair when i was working it lightly on our rabbit. I used the comb on my rag doll cat too, his hair isn't as thick as the bunnies. Didn't get much hair from that episode either. I honestly don't know how to feel about this comb because I have seen a similar one on Tik Tok and thought it would work wonders. Furry does are so prone to knots. This pet detangle allowed me to untangle my does hair without having to cut it off. It did not hurt her at all. I love how thick the handle is it does not hurt my hands. The comb spikes are strong.

I ordered the Doggiez Pet Supplies - Dog, Cat, Rabbit & Pet Detangler Comb for Small Pets. I cannot believe how much I like this comb! We have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies. If you are familiar with this breed, then you know how much hair these dogs have. They have beautiful long, flowing locks, especially around their ears. This hair gets matted very easily. I have struggled finding a good dog brush that works well on matted hair. I have purchased three brushes so far, with average results. This comb is now my new favorite grooming device for them! It is unassuming in its appearance. It is a small, handheld blue and green comb with metal pins. It fits in my small hand very nicely. What has shocked me is how well this works on de-matting the hair behind their ears. The metal pins are strong enough to hold up to the mats, but have rounded tips that do not appear to hurt my pups. My puppies are my babies, so this is important to me. I have spent lots of $$ on dog brushes in the past, so it is SO nice to find this comb that works so well at such a low price! I got three different brushes from this brand and they are really good quality. The handle is heavy duty and fits well in the hand. The small comb is good for detangling. I have a Doodle and this is good for around her face and legs.

I USED IT. That might sound like a lazy way to review a product but here's what I mean. I'm very distrustful of pet products in general, so if this comb seemed like it would have scratched kitty's skin or been in any way unsafe I'd have put it straight in the trash. But it arrived new, clean, and the pins are indeed rounded at the end as advertised, so I put it to use. AND IT WORKED. How does one review a comb? That was the question on my mind when I sat down to type this out. I figure a comb is either going to achieve its purpose or it cant - this one could. Its either going to feel comfortable in your hand or its doesn't - this one does. Its either going to be priced reasonable or its not - this one is. And, most importantly, its either going to please my pet or it wont - this one did. ... show more

    • Most Comfortable Handle Ever. Good for Finer Pet Hair.
I am in love with the handle on this comb! Not only does it give you excellent grip and it is a nice, vibrant color but it is extremely comfortable to hold, especially if you are having a long combing session. The comb seems to be very sturdy and well-constructed. I really like the rounded tips, which make it much more comfortable for your pet. It's important to note that this comb is definitely for smaller pets with fine hair. I have a poodle mix with more coarse hair and, although this was perfect for his face and the fine hair on his legs, I would need a different comb for the rest of his body. He normally doesn't like to be combed but actually seemed to enjoy it with this comb. I would definitely buy this brand again and will be looking to purchase another one from them. Because Phoebe came to us via the local shelter, we are not exactly sure what breed of dog she is. I call her a Scorkie - Scotty Yorkie mix. She has fine fur that gets long if we don’t keep her groomed. She is sensitive to brushing and will only tolerate it in short intervals. We have other combs and brushes but she seems to like this one best. The teeth are really fine and are rounded which helps them slip through her fur more easily. There are always a few snags which usually are cause for taking a short break from the action. I feel like this comb works through the snags better than others we have. The green, rubbery handle is easy to keep ahold of. I have found that combs with teeth that are aligned with the handle are easier to use. They just seem to be easier to maneuver around Phoebe’s small facial features than those with handles and teeth that are perpendicular to each other. I like too that Doggiez included a hole in the handle to hang this comb from. This is a well designed and sturdily constructed pet comb. ... show more

    • Fine teeth but still gentle
I have two long hair cats that get matts fairly often. This brush worked so well! I have a couple other metal teeth brushes that pull the hair and my cats complain. Surprisingly I was able to work through a number of matts on both my cats easily with this brush. The teeth are finer than the other brushes I have so maybe that's the reason for the greater success?
