YES !!!!!!!! Excellent grooming tool to help reach the UNDERCOAT. This easy to use, easy to clean brush keeps our long haired dogs looking good. Great for deshedding a GSD. Single row works fine, pulls so much shedded hair, amazing how much they shed. Do it outside, perhaps keep a vacuum handy to get the stray hair you will drop. Does not cut the hair, just pulls detached, shedded hair.

I bought this because I have been using the Furminator which seems to work great but people on the German Shepherd group say not to use it because it strips their coat. So not wanting to do anything harmful, I purchased this rake type brush. It's pretty good but I don't get as much fur in the brush as I do with the Furminator. Rudy likes it though and will sit for quite a while during our routine. I had another rake style brush with our pervious GSD that worked better but can't seem to find it and have not seen it on line. I think the bristles may have been longer and removed more fur. This does a pretty good job - just not a 5 star. ... show more

Holy moly this brush is awesome!!! I bought it for my little dog, to get foxtails out of her fur. But I also have a great Pyrenees that has crazy under coat ultra thick fur. This brush, with just a few passes got enough fur off that I could have made a entire nother dog from the fur. This is by far my all time favorite brush. I might need to get an extra, so I never lose or misplaced this magic brush I highly recommend it ... show more
