Just installed these as cowl lights on my 4Runner, and they seem to be very bright at a reasonable price point. I spent significantly more on my fog lights (Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro SAE) when I first got the vehicle, but decided to be a little more "budget conscious" for these cowl lights since I wouldn't be using them ALL the time. My one concern was whether or not the color temperature would be close to the SS3 - and you can see a very slight difference when looking directly at the lights, but its not enough to bother me. These are a touch more yellow, whereas the SS3 appear just a bit more amber. From the drivers seat, the color difference is negligible. Another concern was beam pattern - I went with the combo lens because I wanted a bit more light on the shoulder of the road (gotta watch out for those Pennsylvania deer!) but also have a little more light down road. These don't particularly excel at either, but it does seem to be a good compromise. Overall, they seem to be well built, but of course time will tell. At this price point, I'm very happy with the lights. I may pick up a couple more with the flood pattern and mount them on the back of the vehicle for help setting up camp at night. Some red lenses would be a cool feature for that!

Great lights easy to install and are very bright. I like the amber light a lot it’s easy on the eyes when driving and plenty bright. Gives good visibility to the sides as well. Paired with the auxbeam 12” light bar I’m very pleased with how much I can see at night now

These are quality auxiliary lights, which can be mounted to the front of your car or off-road vehicle. If you read the laws by the DOT, and use these properly, you will never be lost in a snowstorm or a fog. I always buy auxiliary lights because, I’m sick and tired of white knuckle situations, especially if you do a lot of driving in places where Nature stirs up trouble. They are heavy duty, they work great, and they are easy to install. But you have to make sure to mount them properly , and I guarantee they will pay for themselves in life-saving situations. On the other hand if you just like decorative lighting, they will look great too.

I have not had other ditch lights before to compare but these Auxbeams are really well made. You can tell when a product is made cheaply and thats not the case here. I'm scared of the lens to be sincere but I'm hoping it wont fade or crack sooner. Light output is great but again the ideal would be to have something to compare. Easy install. It comes with a clear and amber lenses. If you don't want to spend hundreds Auxbeam is way to go. I think you gona like I am liking so far.

If you're buying these to save a few bucks over the much better Rigid D series Pro pods Sure, they work, but the "Combo" spot/flood pattern is way more spot than flood. The attached pic is the AuxBeam Pro "combo" as a side lights on my tractor, the front lights that you see are a pair of Rigid D series SS pros .... yeah, you get what you pay for, & this may work for you, but not even close to what AuxBeam advertises in their representation, so buyer beware.....
