I really was not sure how my lathe did weird respond to this trainer . But i have been able in a couple days using only the sound and vibrate modes get many things resolved with my dogs training . The sound is loud enough to get my other dogs attention as well . Really amazing quality and i have had it nearly a week and the battery life is amazing . Still going . I’ve loved this collar For my pup. It’s not bulky like the previous ones. The remote is easy to use. I like that you can turn the shock option off on the remote so you’re not bumping it accidentally. So far it’s been really effective for my dog.

My dogs have been on a wireless fence for years. A trainer recently suggested a training collar for some issues inside the house - and outside. I ordered this for one of my dogs. The one that I ordered this collar for is the "stubborn dog" who will violate the wireless fence if the motivation is strong enough. Amazingly, just the tone feature on this gets her attention for things like getting off of the furniture or incessant barking. If she is really motivated, the vibration does the trick. I have been nervous about the shock feature, because honing it in to the correct level seems a bit intimidating. After watching a video on how to do that properly, I started trying to find the right level. I had just fully charged the collar the day before after noticing that it seemed depleted and the red light was on. The red light came on TWICE in the couple of hours that I attempted to set the level. (It took so long because both times, I took it off and put it back on the charger. It seemed to charge quickly, but then the red light came on again rather rapidly. I think that I have found approximately the correct level now (about 23 for my dog), but I am concerned about the rapid battery depletion. I do like that there are three selections for the power switch and that the middle position disables the shock while keeping the tone and vibration features active - preventing accidentally shocking the dog. It is an extra step to turn it on if you need it in a hurry but is probably worth it to prevent accidents. I will keep working with this to see if the shock feature works for us - but I'm a bit frustrated with it at this point. ... show more

I got this to start training, it has a beeping setting, vibration setting, and multiple shock levels. The battery has lasted 2 weeks so far and we still haven’t had to charge. This shock collar is GREAT at its price point, compared to the $170 ones in store!

What I love about this training collar is that it is rechargeable. I currently have a training collar but it's a headache having to change the batteries so frequently. Problem solved with this one. It has 3 levels of corrections (beep, vibrator and finally the shocker). It also have multiple levels of intensity for each level. The media could not be loaded. Super simple to use, has a reflector and additional hardware. Different sized pronged so it will work for short and long haired dogs. The collar size is very adjustable, so it will fit smaller dogs all the way up to large/XL dogs. Also the settings allow vibration only or a shock so you can send a warning with the vibration before using the actual shocking setting. Good product for price, would purchase again. ... show more
