I recently picked up this dog collar and have been very impressed with its functionality and effectiveness. While it does have a shock feature, I only plan to use it in extreme situations, such as if my dog runs towards traffic or creates a potential danger for someone else. For example, if she races towards my elderly mother, whom she loves dearly, the shock feature can be used to redirect her before she knocks my mother down (again). We recently had her professionally trained so I hope to never need it but it’s good to have just in case. The features I plan to use regularly are the vibration and beep, which her trainer used with great success. I considered getting the same unit her trainer uses, but this collar, which has the same features, seemed just as good. An added bonus is the flashlight feature. While I hope my dog never unexpectedly gets away from me, it’s reassuring to know I can turn on the light to easily find her. This collar has been fantastic for training. We all love our dogs, and a well-trained dog is truly the best. It makes life easier and safer for everyone involved. The collar is easy to use and has made a noticeable difference in my dog’s behavior. Highly recommend for any dog owner looking to improve their dog’s training and safety!

I have four dogs and I mainly use these kinds of training collars to train them and remind them to stay close to me as we live in the country and have run off in the past. The wider remote control range of over 4000ft is appreciated! I've never had one before that reached that far. Both my collars and remote control were charged and ready to use. Different sounds and levels for vibration and shock. I mainly use the sound and vibration. The only thing I would change about this product is the sound level- make it louder so I can hear them better when they're not by me. Other than that another plus of this product is the flash light function on the collars. You push the light button and you can see the dog light up. Also the continuous flash that lets you know the collars are working and connected help me keep track of the dogs in the dark. I recommend this set!
