I bought this to go on a trip with our young kid who is used to sleeping in dark, dark rooms. Overall, I cannot recommend this enough when traveling with little ones. PROS: It is quite dark material, it does a great job blocking out light. The suction cups are convenient and do a pretty decent job gripping (I would recommend cleaning the window before though, they stick better). The pattern is cute. Comes with a carry case and extra suction cups. Packs down pretty well, and doesn't take up a ton of space. The Velcro spots make it very easy to shrink the curtain without letting in tons light in the gaps. CONS: Some of the cups came squished, so it took a tiny bit to get them to flatten out and suction. If the window isn't cleaned totally well enough, the cups do fall off. This thing was such a great purchase we ended up putting it in our full sun bedroom window for the summer months.

We've been staying in AirBnB's more and more, rather than hotels, and for that, these are indispensible. This is the fourth one I've purchased! Some AirBnB's have blackout curtains, but a lot don't, and when I'm vacationing, I want a cave to sleep in. These curtains get the job done REALLY well. If I need to use the suction cups, I do, they work great, but sometimes, you can just toss the curtain over the existing rod and that works fine, too (if you don't need total 100% blackness). If we're traveling by car, we bring them all with us, so we can cover lots of bedroom windows, but if you're going by plane, they're kind of big and bulky to pack, about like a small pillow. I've used mine a bunch of times, and they're still like new.

I bought these for my 1 year old son as we travel to our in laws a lot and they have very bright bedrooms. We noticed the baby was not sleeping as much and was having a hard time going down at night. These are so easy to pack up and travel with and most importantly easy to install! We read the other reviews and decided to give them a try before fully undoing the packaging. It took me minutes to suction them on the windows and instantly the room was darker! We plan on keeping these for ourselves as well for any travel or overnight stays we do with or without the baby!

I bought this last minute before a trip and I honestly thought I was going to return it. I thought, there’s no way this would be helpful. I was wrong! It was a life saver! My 6 month old is used to dark rooms and on our trip, almost every place we stayed had sheer curtains or blinds that didn’t close all the way. This curtain was so easy to put up with the suction cups and I love how it has the cups all around the fabric so you can really block all the light out. I definitely recommend for people with babies and also people without! It helped me and my husband sleep as well!

My husband and I didn't want to purchase curtains for our apartment at first, as we were planning to move soon after our baby was born. As my baby began struggling to nap though, with all the natural light the blinds just did not block out, I couldn't take it anymore and bought these. Not only did my 6 week old have one of the best independent naps ever today with these installed (had to wake her up to be fed!), we'll be able to easily take these down when we move to our new place soon! They were so easy to install. Took me maybe 10 minutes, including cleaning the window to prep the surface. I'm so happy with this purchase!

I am not joking when I say this is the 5th blackout item I’ve purchased. It’s the ONLY one that has lasted over time, is transportable, actually blacks out the room, is adjustable, and cute! I have 3. My kids NEED dark rooms to sleep, so these have been life savers. Literallt don't hesitate. It’s worth the money. I know because I went through 4 other, cheaper options before this. But those ended up being wasted money.

Thee blackout curtains are good for traveling. They have suction cups to stick to the window and then Velcro to help accordion the extra fabric so it fits any window size. For smaller windows, where you will have lots of extra fabric, it does still let quite a bit of light in. They fold down pretty small to bring along with you and they are plasticky material, so very easy to clean!

The actual fabric of these temporary blackout blinds is very good and keeps light out. However the way these are made there are sewing lines all over the place that, while not really letting light in, shows tiny dots of light through the sewing lines. The seams all around are sewn and there are squares where Velcro and suction cups are sewn that are needed to put the blind up without tools or holes in your walls. So everywhere it’s sewn little pinholes of light are visible. It is distracting to whoever needs to sleep, and seems to give babies something to look at, though the room is supposed to be dark and boring for naps. I’ve tried to include photos but the app won’t allow me to post them. All in all this is an affordable temporary solution. But I think I’ll be returning them due to being cumbersome to put up and take down, as well as the problems with the sewing lines.
