My little doggie loves them. Them unfoldable and foldable stairs, makes it so much more easier for her to get in and out of my bed. What I love most is that it's a 2 in 1, in the morning all I have to do it fold back up and it becomes a sit. Great height for smaller and medium size dogs. Very stabilizedand safe. All I had to do was put on the legs at the bottom and that was very simple. Them dog stairs are definitely worth the money.

We’ve had this Ottoman / dog ramp for about 6 months now…. Very nice quality, size/ height for our small, elderly Chihuahua to climb on accent chair or on our couch. Our little guy just can’t jump up that high anymore. With treats and practice it took him a few days to get adjusted. Now he runs up and down like lightning bolt. Clearly well built, has some weight to it but can easily be moved. Assembly was easy you only had to attached the legs. It also comes with little adhesive rubber floor protection pads. The fabric of the ottoman folded up is very nice and matches the beige Herndon accent chair we purchased at Costco well. The fact that you can fold it up to be an ottoman is a bonus. The treads are wide and very steep but covered nicely with low pile textured carpeting. The steep wide stairs seemed unnatural to our dogs at first because of the angle, but they got used to it. It does have two hinges and this may or may not cause problems with little claws or feel odd to the dog. Not an issue here. The fact that I doesn’t have any rails on the side may cause problems for vision impaired dogs or dogs that just want to take a short cut instead of walking down the treads (like our larger Chihuahua he’s fallen off trying to take short cut). We thought it would be handy that it folds up but we actually don’t other than to vacuum the area. Fur sticks very well to the upper fabric, just keep that in mind. You can lay your feet on it folded up but it’s not for sitting on. Overall highly recommend, if you keep those few things in mind. Very happy with our purchase, it’s a real piece of quality furniture.

I wanted to reach something up on the bed and put one foot up on it and felt like their warning that not for humans is pretty accurate so I backed off since seem light material there probably to help keep entire unit low weight. Poor workmanship

When I received the item I noticed the workmanship was poorly. The fabric was crooked all around the edges. When I closed it, the fabric that was on the steps was sticking out the sides crooked. Staples were used throughout to hold the fabric on the steps, The brackets were huge making my dogs very uncomfortable going up the steps. I had a ramp for my dog's and they were fine with it, but this one they don’t want to walk on. The steps make lots of noise as if it’s thick cardboard under the fabric rather than wood. The steps were not made properly for accommodating dogs. It was definitely not worth the money that I paid.

INSUFFICIENT TRACTION

The quality and construction are fine, the folding into a footstool feature is great when not in use, BUT, the one major flaw of this product as with many of these ramps is that the material covering the ramp does not provide sufficient traction for the dog when descending the ramp. Going up is fine when the dog doesn’t require as much non skid traction. Going DOWN is the problem with these carpet covered inclines. My Corgi damn near slid down the ramp because of insufficient traction from the carpet. If you want adequate traction for your dog you have to get a silicon rubber covered ramp…..which is exactly what I did. Packed this one up and sent it back. Don’t make the mistake of buying a non rubber silicone covered ramp. Carpet covered ramps may look a little more appealing to the eye, but they do not provide sufficient traction for your dog and that’s what it’s all about, that’s why you are buying a ramp in the first place. Do yourself and your dog a favor, get a silicone rubber covered ramp.
