Installation was easy as we were replacing the plastic dog door we already had. This door is a much better door and I believe it will last much longer than 4 years. We've got Several large dogs so it gets used ALLOT. The only negative I can say is I'm not finding replacement flaps. I like to be prepared for everything.

One problem with directions. The reference a side A and a side B, but do not indicate which is which, They are not so marked. After re-reading and thinking about the directions, I came to the conclusion that the A side is the larger, "female" side. The B side is the smaller, "male" side that fits into the "female" A sides. The A side goes into the inside wall; the B side into the outside wall. It would not kill them to mark the damned things.

This says it will easily work for dogs up to 100 lbs. the photos are also very misleading. Don’t buy it if you have large dogs. Also if you have to refund it they will take forever to refund money. Unreal they got it back today. But they won’t issue my refund until April 4th. Amazon has become one large joke

Every couple of days we have to unscrew the metal part that secures the flaps in place and reattach them. Terrible design. I had high hopes for this dog door and other than the flaps falling out of the tracks it is of good quality. The flaps are only held into place by 2 metal pieces clasped together by 4 tiny screws of which don't tighten. Every time the dogs go in and out the 2 metal pieces loosen allowing a large enough gap that the plastic flaps fall out. **Edited to add that the seller reached out and gave a refund.

Do not recommend buying it. The sharp metal frame of the doggy door would scrape the back of my dog ( Large size) and was scratching his back. He has black fur so we noticed it when the poor dog was bleeding. They also charged us restocking fee for their defective doggy door when we returned it. I should send them my vet bill I guess!
