I got my husky at 9 weeks old. She. Wad. Bad. Due to circumstances, I wasn't able to start crating her until she was about 8 months. The separation anxiety on this dog is unreal. We tried every crate out there. Literally. I tried natural remedies, hemp treats, CBD oil, toys, music, metal crates, plastic crates, you name it. I mean seriously. She bent metal, she chewed through the plastic, she even escaped crates with the front side zip tied down. She hated being left alone but hated being in a crate even more. She began to hurt herself trying to squeeze through small spaces she would create. Then one day I decided to stop spending stupid money on crates I knew just weren't going to work on her. Y'all. Please believe me. Please trust me. Buy this crate. Spend the extra $ to get the 48". She hasn't destroyed any part of this crate. It opens topside to put things in/take things out without letting them out. It opens from the front side as well to let them in and out. There is a removable tray for messes. It's separated by more metal wiring so they cant get to the tray. My dog shreds everything so often times, I have to pull the tray out to remove everything she has killed or destroyed (and then brought to her crate to hide but it falls through so I can find the evidence). This crate changed my life and hers. She LOVES it. She doesn't even TRY to get out anymore. I call it her "apartment" because it's massive and she usually just goes in there to hang out or nap without even being told. She loves it so much. It's easy to break down to make portable as well. We put it on the top of the car for trips or down in the back of the car with blankets and pillows for her to lay on top. I have her and a black german shepherd/black lab mix even bigger than her and they both fit comfortably in it. We have even considered buying another one just because it looks so good in the house and our other dog could use it. The only things I would change: More durable wheels (but they come off and they lock while on so the dog's cant move it around) and more durable latches for the doors but, my psycho still hasn't damaged it at all. Invest. In. This. It will change you and your dog's life. I have shared this post and a picture of the product feom Amazon on over 5 different dog pages I follow. Many people are investing.

*** UPDATED REVIEW 11/04/21 ** BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT BUY. THERE IS SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH THIS KENNEL THAT THE MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO CHANGE IN ORDER TO MAKE IT SAFE FOR PETS! I HAVE HAD LITTERS OF PUPPIES HURT THEMSELVES IN THIS KENNEL! ONE JJST BROKE HIS ARM!! DO NOT BUY WHATSOEVER!! I HAVE USED THIS FOR PUPPIES AND ADULT SMALL DOGS, THEIR ARMS GET STUCK IN THE GAP ABOVE WHERE THE TRAY SLIDES IN AND OUT! NOW I HAVE TO TAKE MY POOR DOG TO THE VET!! NOT OKAY! ** UPDATED REVIEW 09/29/21** After purchasing the first one and leaving a 3 star review, the seller offered me a partial refund which I never saw in my account, who knows. Anyways, we breed pups and we needed a sturdy kennel and seeing how the first one had defects but was sturdy, we decided to purchase tow more. BIG MISTAKE. I bought them on sept 8th, it is now the 29th and the kennels have rusted. We have cleaned them twice now by rinsing them off with a hose and then drying them with a professional blow dryer so water doesn't sit on it. Just to clarify, we also wipe down by spraying with kennel-sol and wipes. I am shocked to see that the kennels are rusting and could potentially be harmful to our puppies, not to mention the fact that three of the wheels on one of the kennels have already bent and didn't last. These kennels are by far the worst I have purchased and seller doesn't do much to resolve the issue. I have another kennel from Homey Pet and the coat on their kennels lasts far more than these do, they don't rust and the paint does not come off as these did. I would simply stay away from them. FYI, the first kennel I received was dented and one of the kennels I received also was dented, I didn't make a big deal of it because that happened once already, but seriously though, get it together. I would save my money and purchase a heavy duty kennel elsewhere. Besides, the big DOWNSIDE on these is not being able to remove the bottom wired part to rinse off when pups defecate on it, like other kennels allow. Which only leaves one last option, hose them down. We will not buy these ever again, Homey Pet kennels are more expensive but far more worth it. From one breeder to another, stay away from these! Wrote the review in the AM, by the evening, the wheels broke off!! Let’s start by saying that this kennel seems sturdy to me. Easy to assemble and with minimal work. Although some of the screws wouldn’t go in all the way.. I should’ve realized that the bottom metal tray doesn’t come out for easy cleaning and that it is in fact attached to the whole kennel bottom. But that’s my fault, instead I placed the plastic tray over the metal bottom so I can easily clean that if my puppy does have any accidents. Easy to roll with these plastic wheels which I love, since I’ve had metal and plastic wheels before and they rust quickly. Now for the downside.. The bottom metal part did come damage and it’s slightly bent outwards and that is why I also placed the plastic tray inside and on top of it, to prevent any accidents in which my puppy could get stuck and hurt. The front kennel door latch also is slightly crooked or oversized and it is near damn impossible to open it. Which will lead me to having to leave that bottom latch unlocked. Messaged seller and hoping to receive a reply. Don’t really want to deal with returning such a big cage, especially with how hard it was to bring it up to a 4th floor apartment with no elevator lol.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to put together However the screws never go in all the way cuz the holes be off. But I will be ordering a 3rd due to Rusting of the 1st cage.

Comes fairly put together/folded and that was great, but Walls do not perfectly line up and allen wrench, strips easily. It's very sturdy cage and heavy also a good thing so dog doesn't move the cage, but door locking mechanism is a little weak.
