Pleasantly suprised, and would buy again! I have used soft foldable crates for years for travel. I bought this one because of the great price. Although this one is wider/bulkier than the ones I'm used to when folded up, it is actually LIGHTER than the smaller one I have that folds flatter. EVEN with my crate mat inside. I have the Large, and it is very light. The fabric feels durable as well. Great size and folds down easy. Easy to put together, it's strong enough except the zipper part , if the pet pushes hard enough it will get through the ,zipper. My pig rode to Tennessee from NC with us and she did perfect in the car! In the airbnb she was able to push hard on the zipper and got through. I was able to fix it but she kept getting out from the zipper when we were gone. That is the only issue I see!! Reccommend!! ... show more

This soft side kennel was very well made. The steel poles keep it sturdy. Easy to assemble. It is for my standard poodle on trips in my van. She loves it. As you can see my cat does too! It has no odor. Nice pad on the bottom. Her very comfy bed fit perfectly. She can also sleep in it sideways. Her choice. It can collapse fairly easy to be out of the way. The frame is incredibly flimsy and unstable. Sure it’s easy to put together, but putting your pet’s safety at risk is not worth it! Out of the box you can tell it won’t last long as one of the corner joints was already cracked

Bought this in a hurry to secure a Maltese and am very impressed so far with the packaging and construction. The box is really well packed and the color instruction manual is very detailed, to ensure you get the correct orientation of the frame. Everything fits very snug together and the end product is very well made. The folding action is solid and the way it collapses is quite satisfying. The bars are made of decent weight metal and there is no creaking or warping of the box once deployed. All the little things to secure flaps and ties are appreciated, along with the pouch to keep the instruction manual in. Additionally, there is a ever so slight gap under the entire box that you could place a thin mattress /seat cushion under to provide cushioning, with what I hope is a reliable waterproof and water-retaining bottom. I think for a Maltese or other small breed, this will work great. We'll have to see about the durability of the zippers but looks solid so far. Update: And it's ruined.. zippers are fine.. however the stitching holding the zipper below the side door all came undone, on top of some of the stitching holding corner together. Everything else has held up so well.. rather disappointed.. why only single stitching everywhere!? ... show more

Really nice and easy to put up and down. Sadly our dog ripped the whole zipper off. Don’t recommend for dogs that get rough in their crate still.
