Not only is this cone cute/comfy for our fur baby, it worked great as well! He was not able to reach his incision. Our dog had to wear it for two weeks after his surgery and it stayed inflated the whole time. I did wash it once because there was a lot of drool on it and it held up beautifully, you can unzip the liner and take it off to wash. The sizing chart was accurate as well. So, I had the older style blow up donut for my dog (150lb Cane Corso) after his last surgery. It worked well, but still allowed him to be able to reach his rear leg where his stitches were. This new version, not only fits him better, but has a large shield extending over the blow up donut that goes mostly around the entire neck. It still allows plenty of space for him to be able to eat, drink and sleep comfortably with no issues. I was impressed at the size of this collar. My dog is a large breed mastiff, but this would still be able to fit a larger sized dog. It's easy to use as you just string your dogs existing collar through the hoops provided on the donut, blow up the outer ring, and place the collar around your dogs neck. It's nice and fuzzy so your dog will be comfortable using this to sleep in. It doubles as a soft pillow when sleeping. The only thing I would caution is if your dog uses a doggie door, be careful to keep that door locked or closed because the first time your dog tried to fly through the doggie door while wearing this, he's going to take the entire door with him. This is probably the best Collar of shame I have ever purchased. For the money, it's a great value! ... show more

I never thought I’d see the day my high-strung dog would enjoy wearing anything restricting his movement, but this Dog Cone Collar proved me wrong! He struts around like he’s wearing a crown rather than an inflatable cone, which is a sight to behold. The soft padding must be incredibly comfy because he doesn't even try to wiggle out of it. But the real win? It finally got him to stop eating his paws! This collar worked wonders, and I’m thrilled to see him heal properly without his constant nibbling. The adjustable size made it a perfect fit, and the inflatable part meant I didn’t have to worry about him crashing into furniture like a bulldozer. He looks like a pool float, but he’s happy—and most importantly, healing! If you’ve got a dog that could win gold in the Olympic sport of anxiety, this is the cone for you. Excellent product! Great value for the price! I was recommended to this product by a friend and I have already recommended this to others! One tip: My terrier mix dog (with a longer neck) figured out how to turn this so the open part of the plastic edge was in front. To prevent that, I put a ponytail holder around the clasp and attached it to the harness, which worked perfectly to make sure all his incisions (after his surgery) are healed completely - if he is allowed to lick the incisions it increases his risk of infection. ... show more

we liked this donut for our dog after his neuter surgery because so often those plastic cones bump against everything, and will scare a dog, or even damage your walls. This donut was comfortable for my dog to wear while resting and sleeping, we just had to remove it when he wanted to eat. The plastic around the edge gives him more visibility around him, while making it near impossible for him to lick his incision. Just be aware that the clear plastic is not removable. Purchased this cone collar for my German Shepherd. He had hot spots and this worked perfectly, he wasn't able to reach/lick them allowing healing to occur.
