I got this because I walk my dog a lot when it's dark outside. She can be very rambunctious at times and, even though I don't think she would run off if she got loose, I feel better having it on her just in case. I love the fact that this has lights that are fun colors and also so many different settings you can put it on. It had a bit of a charge straight out of the box, but I went ahead and charged it fully before using it since it was several hours before I would need it. The light is bright and the unit as a whole seems sturdy. I definitely wouldn't leave it on my dog when it's not in use because it hangs lower than a traditional tag, making it easier for the dog wearing it and other pets to chew on it if the mood strikes them. I was quite pleased with this and my dog really liked it, too. She went crazy chasing the light once we got outside because I had made the mistake of snapping it on the no-pull harness I had put on her so I could work with her a bit earlier and it's ring was low across the center of her chest. I won't do that again because I swear I think I saw my life flash before my eyes before I was finally able to wrangle her up and clip the light on her regular harness that I was actually leading her with so the flashing lights weren't directly in front of her anymore. I wanted to mention that so that anyone else who happens to own a young, playful, untrained, moose of a dog like mine will be mindful that their dog might want to chase the flashing light- especially if it's right in front of them. Despite the initial near-death experience caused by my stupidity (picture a 70+ pound sled dog mix slinging a human while chasing after lights), I absolutely love this light and I'm so glad I got it. It's a very inexpensive investment that helps keep your pet safer. I would highly recommend this to all dog owners who walk their dogs at night.

So far so good but only used if a few times. Works as described with powerful light for a small device. I like the variety of lighting options and the fact that it's rechargeable. My others had batteries which were almost as expensive as the light themselves, so it didn't make sense to replace the batteries. This is a much smarter and ecofriendly option!

So far this light is fantastic for walking my Great Dane at night. Here recently we’ve had more traffic coming through our neighborhood but no matter how big of a dog you have, it’s still like you're invisible. 🫥 This light is bright and worth the small price!

I liked the light itself, but the clip is flimsy and poorly constructed. The first two times we used it, the clip flipped to the wrong side of the light and the 3rd time, it fell off during the walk, and was never seen or heard from again. So,..clearly not a good value for any money. Sad...too bad it wasn't a 2-pack for the money!
