This coat is awesome for several reasons. 1. It is longer than most coats and goes all the way to cover even her tail. 2. There is a toggle at the neck line so you can pull the elastic cord and tighten it to fit snuggly on your dogs neck to keep down heat loss. 3. My favorite part is the plastic that is behind the zipper instead of material. I am always getting that material on other coats caught up in the zipper and it's a pain. The plastic behind the zipper allows it to easily zip up without catching. 4. The material is water resistant. 5. The coat is easy to put on.... just slip in the 2 front paws and zip it from tail to neck. I hate coats that treat dogs like a kid (it's hard to try and get their legs into holes that are like armholes. Every coat should zip up the back. Lastly the cost is not extreme for the price you pay you get a good quality coat that is guaranteed to last. ... show more

I found that this coat actually runs pretty true to the measurements the seller has posted - specifically the girth. I made the mistake after reading the other reviews of going up a size - and that was too big. I ordered the correct size, and it fits great as you can see in the photo. When I was searching for this coat - I was specifically hunting for one that zipped up the back - we get a lot of snow - and we walk along a road with lots of dirty slush. Coats with velcro belly bands get absolutely filthy on our walks - this coat picks up far less dirt, and is easy to wash! I also love the neck cinch - I ordered a 2nd coat from another seller so I could rotate coats in the wash - and it does not have the cinch - and I feel like the cold air just rushes right into that coat - this coat keeps him warm! On especially cold days, I do put a sweater on him under the coat. He's a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix - and while he LOVES the outdoors - I can actually see him shivering some days. This coat works alone on days above freezing, and I pair it with a sweater on days below! ... show more

I like how easy it was to put on my dog. It is big enough to fit his barrel chest, and protects his belly side nicely too. My dog wears it all the time, because he gets cold, being from Alababa. The coat is waterproof too, and easy to dry off. I think my Trooper looks very handsome in it. Worth every penny!! ... show more

I ordered the Geometric Blue jacket in size Chest: 27.95", Back: 23.62". I love the way it looks and that it keeps our 50lbs. Pitbull warm while outside in cold Chicago winters. Overall I do recommend this jacket it's like a high quality sporty ski jacket for dogs, just measure twice and order once. Pro's: Looks just like the pictures, nice high collar, easy to clean (just wipe away as needed), reflective racing stripes for visibility, sturdy fabric - won't easy tear when scratching at it, lightweight and thinner but very warm, water proof against rain and snow. Cons: No stretch to this so be careful to order the sizing correct, looooong delivery wait window, Zipper on the back can be tricky - can easily catch fabric when zipping up if not mindful, and might be an issue with fluffy long hair dogs, idk. ... show more

Bought this for my 2 month old puppy to wear on cold any windy Oklahoma days. It was a little difficult to get on him, until he got the hang of it, but he didn’t mind wearing it at all once it was on and it seemed to really keep him warm and dry. Of course he grew out of within a few months, but the coat was only $14.89 when I ordered it, so I didn’t mind because that’s much cheaper than prices elsewhere! The coat was good quality as well. I definitely recommend measuring your pup to make sure you get the correct size. I think at the time of ordering (Oct. 2020) I had to purchase a 2XL for him, which was measurements of 21” chest and 18” back. If there’s a size big enough to fit him next winter, I’ll be purchasing another one. ... show more

    • Excellent little jacket for my chihuahua
I was initially unsure what size to get my pup as he's only 7 months old and is still growing. He's about 9 pounds, so I got him the Medium size. It fits him and he looks very comfortable wearing it. It's roomy enough for him to also have on a cotton shirt and a hoodie underneath when it is much colder outside. The only thing that I don't really like is the drawstring around the neck area. I like that the drawstring is adjustable; I adjusted it to make the area smaller, but the excess string will just eventually hang outside. I try to hide it inside the clothing, but it eventually pops back outside. It's a minor nuisance, but it would be nice if there was a small opening to hide the excess string. The jacket holds up in the rain. Of course I haven't taken him out when it's intensely downpouring rain, but if it's just casually raining, it's effective against the water as he stays dry. ... show more

So I got this for my new puppy since it has been super snowy and rainy lately. I got the chest 20.87 back 17.71, it fit my 22 lb German shepherd puppy. I got it for warmth but the water resistance definitely nice too! He is a black dog and the red looked really good on him! It fit snug but not uncomfortable. It had some nice give to zip it but still keep it comfortable but not loose! Overall I love it and am happy he has a warm/rain jacket for this crazy weather! ... show more
