Our local Blaze King dealer assured me I could use nothing but their provided factory replacement for my Princess model stove. It was also $370 vs. the $209 I paid here, and they looked identical to me. This worked beautiful, don't believe the sales hype from dealers that are just trying to upcharge you like crazy. The install was very easy, I used a flathead screwdrive to gently remove the old converter, the new one does come with a gasket already on it. Slid this one in and fired up the stove, works great. I bought a ceramic catalytic combustor from Midwest in 2021. It was cracked when I received it and they never answered my email. I needed another to use my stove this year, so I ordered the non-ceramic version. It has been holding up better. Disappointed with Midwest. What else is there to say? My title says it all. I have a Vermont Castings Encore, built in 2021, with the "optional" cat. The old cat broke (due to operator error), and this replacement part works perfectly. I would not hesitate to buy this again.
