A little Leary because of a bad review but I decided to risk it. I’m glad I did. Even though it is kind of a pain to install, it’s not too bad. The buckle thing is worthless to me. It’s too close to the cab and I can’t fit my fingers in to unbuckle it. It is not completely waterproof even after I made modifications and used some silicone sealant. But it is very water resistant and I have very little problem with water even though going through very heavy rain storms. The greatest thing about it, in my opinion, is that I get 3-5 mpg better while driving. City compared to Highway. I didn’t realize an open bed with the closed tailgate was such a drag on fuel mileage. Wish I had known a lot sooner. That fuel mileage savings could have really added up over five years.

2019 Tacoma short bed. Easy to install. Uses Toyota factory bed tracks. It DOES come with instructions contrary to other reviews. There are three sections: the front section is fixed and would require dismounting to remove which takes about 5 minutes. The middle and rear section are secured with easy to operate cam locks. Then close the tailgate and you are done. To lock, just lock your tailgate. The pictures in the ad show two guys standing on it. I'm not going to test that but i put all my weight (200#) in the middle or the rear section and it didn't deflect much. Initial rating from me is 5/5

Overall I like the product, my one issue is is that in the winter it is near impossible to unlatch the anchor points that secure the cover to the bed without breaking them. I’ve had all but one break, after contacting the seller I found out that there’s no way to buy replacement parts. I’ve only had the pick up bed cover for six months and I can no longer keep anything valuable in the bed of my truck. A mentionable side note is that it’s not very watertight either. Every time I go to the car wash there’s water in the bed of my truck. If I could buy replacement parts or if there was a warranty I would give it a lot higher rating but for $400 and it only last six months I would not buy this product again. I guess if you live somewhere where it doesn’t get cold Or don’t plan on keeping anything valuable on the bed of your truck I’m sure it will work just fine.

I like the new anchors for the bed rails, very solid. Keeps items securely locked in the bed. Love the thoughtful, added led light and additional weather stripping. The instructions should be redone, they are basically useless. I was able to figure it out after a couple of tries and it took maybe 30 mins to install with a buddy helping to make it a bit easier. Love the look, quality and price, and extra clips etc.

This worked great for my 1998 toyota tacoma single cab 74.5 inch bed. I was leary as far as which bed cover would fit but this turned out great! Unfortunately the mounting clips to the bed rails were loose so I used the rubber protector the kit came with to put under the clip to fully secure it to the bed. Make sure to measure the distance on each side to line it up evenly. Slight problem with the right side rail closing so I have to play with it to fully lock it down. Looks nice and saves gas mileage too

Love it! It’s pretty easy to install. I had a stock bed liner from Toyota in my Tacoma (01). I had to cut 6 holes with my Dremel so that I could mount the rack mounts to the frame of the bed. After that you just piece the frame together (3) sides with the tailgate open for end of the rolling cover to clip in. Probably took 45 mins because I was trying not a mess cutting rectangular holes for the brackets. Then just roll it out and adjust the snap in ends so it fits snug but not too tight. Then just enjoy the security and better gas mileage provided by the durable cover!

I purchased this for my son's 2022 Toyota Tacoma. It was easy to install and reasonably priced. I wasn't sure if it was going to fit since the description only went as far as 2019 but it fit perfectly and looks great. My only complaint was a tiny chip on one corner caused during shipping. It's hardly noticeable and we found the broken peice in the box so I can just super glue it back on. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend.

This was a great price for a quality cover. Install instructions weren't great I guess, but it wasn't that hard, just bold three brackets on each side to the bed rail then lock it down. Weatherproofing the Tacoma bed is a little more difficult, but that you would have to do with any topper. It is secure, and kept the stuff in my bed from getting stolen or soaked driving through a downpour and a blizzard and parking in inner city areas.
