I bought this cover looking for a low cost and easy to install cover to replace the one that was on my 2002 Silverado 1500 with the 6.5' bed. For the price, I could not be happier with this purchase. I don't know how long it will last, but I am very pleased with it so far. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a cover for my 22-year-old pickup, with rusting rocker panels. I just needed something that would cover and protect anything I have in the bed. This cover does that, probably as well as any, at this point. It was also extremely easy to install. A reviewer on Amazon said it took them 15 minutes to install. I guess I can see that for others who have installed covers like this before, or are handier than I am, but it didn't take me long (less than an hour-I am particular). One last thing to point out is that the cover is easy to roll up and roll back down in place. It has a looped bungee cord at the cab on each end to hold the cover in a rolled-up position when desired. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I had minor problems with the threads being tapped diagonally a bit off center on a few of the clamps. On my old truck, I had to modify the bed liner with a few holes. But I love it. Well worth it. Functions beautifully. There's a minor quality control issue with the clamps that's all. Prevents the clamp from sitting completely flat. Chase the threads beforehand if so equipped? ... show more

Easy to install. Generally durable and easy to use. Could be user error, but I hauled some material longer than my bed length, but left the cover down to help keep some light rain off the material and the outside corners of the cover on the latch arm ripped away from its seal. Great concept, but the quality control is poor. I used a square to check, as the top wasn't closing on the left side rear. The frame was square at the front, so I started measuring parts. One rail was 1" longer than the other and the cover was out of square, hence it won't lock down. It definitely isn't waterproof! I reached out to customer support via Amazon 2x's and direct call x2 - no response, no contact. I would return but the UPS driver left the package in the rain and the box deteriorated! The two setscrews that lock the sides to the front are a little difficult to turn with the wrench that is provided, this is what takes the longest time during installation.
