Looks stylish, install is a bit fiddly as the instructions aren't super informative, took me about an hour to work out the steps and details. Not 100% waterproof but we live in Oregon and therefore it gets a solid test most days in the winter and spring, but keeps most things dry. Once fitted it is easy to use and roll up as needed and gives a little more security to the contents from casual observers. Reasonably priced product but I would be aware of the slight water intrusion from the cab end interface despite the seal they sent with it. ... show more

    • Fantastic Tonneau Cover!!

I was helping my father look for a tonneau cover for his 2017 Ford F-150 and after checking out a website that sells all of the name brand options, decided to look on Amazon. We found this cover and it had similar specs to the Gator Tailback tonneau ($840) that we had picked out. The Gator has a slightly higher weight rating. With the DNA Motoring (they need a better name) at almost half the price we were skeptical at first but we bought it anyway. When it arrived the first thing we noticed was its weight. It has heft but not so much that its unmanageable. That heft translated into a very solid/sturdy construction. It installs very easily with no extra side rails. It clamps down really well and is very secure. It looks great and fits perfectly on the truck. The first thing we did was took it to a car wash to test how well it keeps water out. After we opened the tailgate we were surprised to see only a few drops had made it through! The car wash we went through is really good and sprays as ton of water in every direction. Oh and my father actually stood on the cover like they did in the picture and it handled his weight no problem (I still don't recommend doing it though). Overall we are very happy that we took a chance with this cover and it paid off. If you are on the fence and are nervous to try this cover, don't be. It's a great cover at an incredible price. Just put it on my truck yesterday. I have an F-150 with an 8 ft bed. It wasn’t too hard to install, just had to fiddle with the hardware a bit. It looks really good on the bed, it’s just a tad bit short! If it was like an inch or two longer it would be perfect. Also, the clamps in the back are kind of annoying. Overall, not too hard to install and looks very nice. Hopefully it functions well for me. ... show more

Love this bed cover! Easy to install, seems pretty water tight as of now. Only issue is it grips down on the tailgate (no matter how tight or loose I make the hinges) and whenever using the tailgate release button on the key fob the tailgate sticks and does not go down.

Bought to go away. We were expecting rain, but it rained the whole way for 6 hours. Our belongings were bone dry! Easy to install, came quickly, and good quality. Highly recommend for a fraction of the going prices. We bought the 6'5" for a 2017 Ford f150. Love it!

I purchased the cover less than 3 months ago and was very excited about the new hard cover. I have had several soft covers previously. Everything was great until a month in when the folds started binding. At first I just thought it was dust in them when I opened them and I don’t open or close it very often - most of the time it just sits covering the bed. This month I opened it to help someone move furniture and saw paint chipping off the metal edges of the panel. The edges were bending causing the paint to chip. I looked in Amazon for support / replacement but they had a 30 day policy. So I reached out to the manufacturer and sent pictures. They said no warranty on their product. We can do nothing for you. I spoke to Amazon and Amazon helped me as an exception. They did walk me through how to spot when there isn’t a manufacturers warranty. I am now an informed consumer and no longer assume a 1 year warranty is standard. Many manufacturers make this same cover through Amazon and have 1-3 year warranties for the same price. I would not buy from this company again. If they don’t believe they can warranty it for a year, why would I trust this is a quality product and last for several years. Initially I would have given them 4 stars because it arrived with some deep scratches. But after the support they gave me on a manufactures defect, I would say one star because you can’t give no stars. ... show more
