This toolbox is good quality but the measurements are off. The depth is 12 inches. This makes a difference and my husband had to modify how he attached this due to this inaccuracy.

This worked perfect for my 1995 Jeep YJ. I had no back seats and no top and needed a way to lock stuff up. It fit perfectly where the back seat bolts should go. I simply drilled two holes in it and bolted it down. See photos.

So, this box is pretty flimsy, and it came with the rear of the box dented near the hinge. The lid has trouble opening not a good buy... the dent on the lid is very noticeable on the top and the rear at the dent. And where the inside shows the lid you can see a big droop almost like the box is out of square. The package the box came in showed no signs of abuse which tells me this box was shipped knowing there were flaws. ... show more

    • Not 27", but 24".
I really like this for the back of my vehicle but the only thing wrong is the fact that it is not 27", it's 24". I needed 27" for a perfect fit, and like I read on another review, the sizing is off by 3". I could of ordered it a lot cheaper by ordering a 24". Not so happy about that.

Ok box but seller needs to correct measurements. Add says 9. Inches wide, it’s 12”. Had to return. Didn’t fit my needs.

It would have been a good product, if they listed the width and height correctly. They were reversed. Also, the keys would not open the lock.
