Love the color, the soft faux fur on inside for warmth, the outside repels water... it has all the things. Yet the hood, and especially the strap flaps that fasten on the front of the neck can be very annoying when not in use, especially since they have velcro at the ends. The hood and those flaps seem to be larger than they need to be. Even when I use the straps on the front, and tighten the cord around the edge of the hood, it is really large in the back and a good wind storm wants to pull it off. I'm still keeping it.

I'm going Salmon fishing in Alaska next month and needed a warm, waterproof jacket. I'm 5/4", 145 lbs and I bought the size large. Perfect fit. I purchased the yellow, because it was on sale for less than $35. It's not a bright, fireman yellow, but more the color of an egg yolk. The jacket zips ( plastic zipper) and has a wind flap with velcro closure. The cuffs have velcro too, to allow snugging at the wrist. The hood zips off and has pull strings to snug close to the head. The jacket bodice lining is a faux fur with quilted sleeve lining. I have no doubt the jacket will keep me dry. I'm hopeful that it will be warm too. I'll update this review post my return from Alaska.

This jacket was completely adorable. It ran pretty true to size. I purchased a large and that's what size I normally would wear in a jacket or winter coat. It was so so warm. I was in temperatures of 15 to 18° with very strong winds and lots of snow and I stayed toasty warm in this jacket. Only reason I gave it four stars is because the first time I wore it the snap button at the very bottom of the jacket came off. Luckily I was able to find both pieces and snap it back on. However I don't know if it will stay. Also the zipper tended to want to wrinkle a little bit at the bottom so it was a bit difficult to zip closed after wearing a few times. However I discovered if you pull down real hard and get the zipper straight it would zip pretty smoothly. Overall a really nice winter coat.

This is a nice coat and very warm for winter but it does not look like the picture. I wanted something more form fitting and this is more puffy. Over all it’s nice but if you want form fitting this is not the coat.

I bought this jacket to take to Antarctica, and it proved to be perfect! It packs well and you can squish it pretty small in an airtight bag. It was waterproof from snow and splashing water on the zodiacs. It was warm and cozy with the fuzzy lining in the body. The adjustable velcro on the wrist feature was very convenient to keep snow off your skin and to seal the jacket tight around your gloves. The hood is nice and roomy and protected the sides of my face and ears, plus it was removable if you do not need a hood. My only negative is that I wish it had more pockets. I usually wear a size medium, but I bought it a size up so I could easily layer clothing underneath. So I would say it fits true to size, with the arms being plenty long enough (I have very long arms and I usually have a hard time finding clothing that fits properly). I bought the bright blue one, and the color was beautiful and vibrant as shown in the picture online. This was a great purchase, and the price was great too! I will be using this jacket again for skiing as well. Highly recommend!!!!!!
