  • One year in - Still like new - Still my favorite toy
The bike is very comfortable, once you figure out how to mount it. After a year, the battery still seems to hold most of the original capacity (no specs, but I can still ride 25+ miles). None of the parts have rusted. The chain has never derailed. The shifts are still quick and work perfectly well with the click shifter (no adjustments necessary after the free professional assembly and initial delivery adjustments). The brakes are still super strong and fade free (after one year I had to turn the adjustment and make the rear a little tighter - just once in a year); actually, the brakes are A+ as I like to skid to a stop for fun with those beefy tires! The best kickstand I've ever had as it is not in the way of the pedals, and it is solid (the bike has never fallen over). The seat is on a shock absorber and is padded to comfort but still small enough to bang out a workout. The shocks on the fork are solid, absorb curbs and bumps with ease, and don't feel weak like my last Trek bike did. The fork shocks work so well that they add to my confidence of stability when rolling fast. The pedals have excellent thick metal that grabs any shoe I wear (I've never slipped off, saving from injury). The handlebars have grips with more of an elliptical shape, with flat wings, that are the most comfortable handles I've ever had. Overall, this bike is A+ COMFORTABLE. That is once I figured out how to wrangle this beast with my 5'10" 200 lb frame in lane at a red light, without looking like I'm overwhelmed, hehe. Things that could be improved: The fenders are a very welcome addition, but very occasionally get off center and rub the edge of the fat tire enough to vibrate and make a noise (I have been able to pull over and simply center them with my hands to remedy, but still is an occasional annoyance). The controller screen is already scratched a bit, and harder to read in full sun. I have yet figured out an out of the way spot to mount a water bottle holder, so I just keep my water in a bag on the back rack I added to the bike. An included tail light would have been welcome, but I easily added a rechargeable one. ... show more

  • Super bike, like an electric motorcycle! Bad customer service
I have used the bike 3 times, with 60 miles traveled on land, streets, sand, grass is an all terrain, at 26 F in Minnesota, I am very satisfied with the purchase, top speed 23 miles per hour, it is the second time I charge the battery and I have 80% charge after 60 miles traveled, I have climbed roads with slopes of 30 degrees and still the bike with pedal assistance runs up to 18 miles per hour. I weigh 210 with clothes and accessories. It has been snowing, it has been raining and everything works perfect, the speed changes, the lights, the Display is a bit small, I would have liked it to be twice the size, I think it is the only one. Delivering was on time, and everything went well without problems, a protection of the changes that did not allow to change 6 and 7 was doubled but immediately I called the Amazon technical service they communicated with the owner and he authorized me to take it to a center of service and they would pay for the service, it was not necessary, because the technician saw the problem and fixed it in 30 seconds. So I am very happy I made a very good purchase, compared to the electric bicycle my son bought. This one is better in everything, thicker wheel, super run all the way. Power, speed, maneuverability, technology, and quality. Very happy. After two weeks, of use the walk assistance that I never used before, won't work, so I claim by warranty thru Amazon first and then Amazon redirect my claim to asurion, I bought the extended warranty, after received the documentation to filled out and sent it, this claim was rejected. So sad that nobody take care after only 3 weeks of use. I am so unhappy. With the customer service, Amazon, asurion, manufacturer. I have my bicycle since 2019 now riding for almost 6 years and my bicycle is like new, I just changed a new tires, I gave 5 stars I am so happy with my bikes almost 50 miles per charge pedal assist. Best ever, I enjoy my bike every day in snow, dry or wet. I an so happy ... show more

  • What I expected for my first E-Bike
For starters, I am a 6ft tall, 240 lb product engineer. This is my first time buying an e-bike. I have put over 300 miles on the bike thusfar, mainly riding to and from work (roughly 5 miles each way). I typically ride at a 4 out of 5 on the controller - my understanding is this is 80% power based on the manual. The power strobes in and out a little abruptly at times - being a new rider I'm not sure if this is typical. The power usage produces, for my size, a roughly 19mph average ride on the flat, pedalling normally. It appears the motor assist is speed based - ie. motor kicks in at about 18.3mph takes the speed to about 19.5mph then cuts out until speed goes back down. I am able to ride for roughly 25 miles before I'm below 1/4 power, so I typically charge every other day (4-5 hours to charge). Overall not a bad bike. Assembly was fairly simple and the bike did come with a multi-tool. I added the Iberra bike rack for disc brakes and the bike is pre-welded with lugs to mount the rack without issue. I mainly purchased the bike to allow me to share my car with my oldest child since used car prices are up and I wanted to hold off buying a car. With gas prices going up the gas savings has definitely been a bonus. Every review is correct, this is a very large bike and would be difficult for a smaller rider to handle. For me it works and serves the purpose I had for it. ... show more
