The specially designed headset is made to match the angle of the ear canal for a superior fit that avoids audio leak and minimizes ambient noise for better performance. The 22-inch length offers better sound volume and allows you to easily accommodate all patients from infants to adults. An excellent general-purpose stethoscope for all manner of medical professionals, students and home health monitoring. Designed to assist with patient diagnostics and evaluations it has excellent sound quality and transmission. Single head stethoscopes have a pressure-sensitive tunable head that functions as both a diaphragm and bell depending on the applied pressure. This tunable diaphragm allows for easy shift between high and low frequency sounds. To hear low-frequency sounds, you rest the chest piece lightly on the patient; to hear high-frequency sounds, you apply firm contact pressure to the chest piece. Slim head fits easily under cuff for taking blood pressure.
