i was in the middle of writing a scathing one star review when everything changed. in two of the FEW one stars reviews, they talk about how when they go through their SETTINGS and try to connect to the Planet-9 via bluetooth, their phones said “Planet-9 not supported” then completely disappeared from their bluetooth list, and the same thing happened to me for HOURS. until i watched a youtube video of someone reviewing the lamp, and they skipped going to the device settings entirely and went straight to the Divoom app. in the app, he went to SETTINGS>DEVICE and it paired automatically. on my iPhoneXR, there is no said option. however in the iPhone app, when you tap the CUBE, then tap the SCREEN with the + sign in the top left corner, it automatically paired! it took me literally hours to figure this out so i hope this review helps someone! i still have to give four stars for how complicated all this was when the instructions/app could’ve been more clear. ... show more

It's a very good lamp, you can change the combination of colors and even make your own customized color pallet via the app. It's uses visual cues for notifications. At first I was disappointed because I was looking forward to customizing it all different colors, but it wouldn’t connect! Turns out the problem was that I was trying to connect to the Planet-9 through settings! For IOS (idk for Android) ** if you want to connect it to your phone you have to download the app, make sure it shows up in the Bluetooth settings, BUT DONT CONNECT IT THERE, go to the app and connect it through the app** -if the planet-9 doesn’t show up in your Bluetooth settings, then you need to fully shut of your phone then turn it on again for it to show up ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to spice things up a bit in my office at home. Originally, I was going to use it on camera while streaming to have cute backlight in the background, but unfortunately, this light is too small so it's not super bright on camera. However, that won't make me rate this product down because of that. The media could not be loaded. I recently converted one of our old bedrooms into an office and was looking for something to spice up the room. I came across the Divoom Planet-9 Mood Lamp and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised with this product. Their app makes it extremely easy to choose the lights you want. You can make your own colors/lightshow or you can choose to use someone else's that uploaded it to the Divoom app. This is a lot better than trying to mess with RGB light strips, in my opinion. It's completely wireless and comes with a charger. This lamp is smaller than I originally thought but I'm glad. I put it under my desk's TV stand and faced it towards the wall. Doing this makes it light up the whole area versus pointing the light directly towards me (which is quite blinding lol). I listen to music all day with my speakers so using the lamp's music visualizer mode is so fun. I recommend it for anyone who wants their music to feel more alive. I really like this lamp and I will probably get another one. If you're on the fence about purchasing this lamp, just dive in and do it! You won't regret it. ... show more

The box and packaging were beautiful. The instruction booklet is in a million different languages, but is extremely uninformative. The lamp is much heavier than was expecting and doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. The charge cord is the highest quality charge cord I’ve ever seen with an electronic. UNFORTUNATELY my iPhone recognizes the lamp in my Bluetooth settings, BUT refuses to pair. This seems to be a problem with users in the US. The app the scan code brings up in the App Store isn’t even the right app. Some of the light settings I can use with the dial are glitchy and don’t fade well into each other. For almost $40 I wouldn’t have bought this lamp if I knew the main selling feature didn’t work. ... show more

So at first I was the biggest fan of this , I saw it on a Tik Tok video a gamer girl was explaining how she loved it and me being a sucker for cute things I bought it for my daughter who is autistic. I got it in February 2021 it is the end of September 2021 and it has stopped working try charging it & everything there's a light in back that turns green when I press it but it does not go on so for the price not worth it!!! My daughter's heart broken and it's hard for me to explain to her why doesn't work so I'm definitely bummed out. ... show more
