WOW!! This book is THICK and DEEP! I ordered another book safe before I decided to get this one instead. The other one didn’t have much room and kept getting stuck where the handle wouldn’t turn and would get stuck on whatever money or whatever I had on the bottom. It was so annoying. I decided on this one because it was deep and I knew it would hold what I needed without getting stuck. Its ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Looks just like a thick book and no one would guess it was a book safe unless they decided to try and read it. Looks like a boring book so I doubt anyone would want to read it anyway. This looks good but the instructions aren't really clear on how to change the lock code. I will be looking that up on YouTube though since it is not too specific. Aside from that this is great.

    • Sturdy book safe, love that you can set your own code.
I got this for my 8 yr. old. I was looking for an upgrade from the piggy bank. Its great for paper money or other precious items you want to keep secure from your siblings. The inner door is heavy sturdy metal. It was easy to set the code the first time with the included directions. I suggest only setting it once because when I tried to change it to a different code and I could not do it and the lock would no longer work. The customer service was amazing and they sent me a replacement book safe right away. So even though the directions say that you can set a new three digit number code after the initial selection, I don't recommend it. Just pick one. Its a cool way for kids/teens to keep and hide their important stuff. ... show more

I had an issue with using this book safe because I couldn't figure out how to use it and the customer service staff went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. They were consistent in their communication and worked hard to get the situation resolved.
