  • WONDERFUL GAME!!!! One of the best kids games on the market!
This is HANDS DOWN one of the best kids games that I have ever seen! My daughter is 7 and is always begging me to play games on my Xbox One X, but most prove to be visually entertaining for her, but too complicated to actually play without constant help from me. This game was the first that combined visually stunning graphics (especially on a 4K TV) and ease of play. It's also extremely interactive and she feels like she's actually meeting and performing tasks for Disney characters. Due to the open-world style of play, she can go where she wants and bounce between characters/tasks/attractions at will. I have to be honest, I was at Disney World about 20 years ago and as she's playing, I recognize places and it brings back some wonderful memories. And I don't mean just the attractions! This game has all of the details done so well that certain food courts that you run through are recognizable to me as places that we sat and ate!!! If you have a child that is interested in video games and loves Disney characters, don't hesitate to buy this game. I can't say enough good things about it! My daughter loves interacting with the different princesses, Toy Story characters, etc. etc. My only critical comment is that the loading times when doing different "attractions" tend to be lengthy and a couple of times it took so long that I thought there was something wrong. Aside from that, this is the PERFECT game for kids! ... show more

  • Our son LOVES this game!
Our son loves Disney World. He has a diagnosis of severe ASD and Disney has become our happy place because he just enjoys it so much. With the pandemic, we have not been able to return to the parks. We started to look for some XBox games for him and found this one. It is SO realistic and he just runs around the park all day. We have never been to Disneyland, but I definitely think we will have to visit now (some day!). I wish they would make one for Disney World and all of the parks. Even I have spent some time playing and it just gives you that excited feeling of being in the parks (weird, I know, but true story!). He does not "play the game" so much as run around the parks and go on the rides. I have played the game itself and find it really fun to go around the parks and accomplish the tasks they request of us, collect coins etc. Just fun, not stressful and a great way to spend time together as a family. ... show more

  • Great Game - Our 3 Year Old Loves It - 2nd Best to Going to DisneyLand itself.
My little princess is really bummed out by Quarantine. We had a disney cruise lined up and of course you know how that worked out. We did manage to goto Disney last year, so she's got pictures/memories of that event which we look at frequently. Decided to give this a try and I'm glad we did. This is an exceptionally well done game. Really gives you the Disney experience like you're actually at the park. It's great that you can 2-player it too, because I can give her a controller and she can pretend to play along. I think it was $16 when we bought it, dunno what pricing is when you're looking at it, but I'd def pay around $20-25 for the amount of family fun this brought. Hope you and your family are staying safe, and I can't wait until we can goto Disneyland again for real. ... show more

  • Good price, better controls, repetiitive gameplay but great if you know what to expect
Here's what you need to know: 1)This is a re-release and it fixed the worst things about it - ie the controls. Playing with the Kinect was absolute torture, slow, and not intuitive. They removed that to allow for controller game play and it makes the game much more fun. 2)This game is perfect for kids, as well as adults who would enjoy running around Disneyland to recapture the memories. 3) The mini games were not well re-designed and are EXTREMELY repetitive. You are either free falling/ running or matching buttons. I don't know that kids will mind all that much, but adults will find this boring. 4) General gameplay aspects are running errands/ collecting things for various familiar characters, getting autograph books signed, getting pictures with your favorite characters, and other magical collecting (watering plants, turning on lights, and using your magic wand). It is cute and imaginative, and I recommend this game to anyone with kids around 5-10. 5) The price point is perfect. At $30 dollars you really can't go wrong. ... show more

  • Relaxing game!
I really like this game because it is fun, and relaxing. It challenges you at different ride attractions in Disneyland. You can earn badges, walk around to collect coins, and character signatures. A lot like the real thing because sometimes you cannot get the autograph. I have experienced that! Thanks for making such a fun, and relaxing game! ... show more

  • Enabling 2nd Player is a PITA
I have two kids (5 y.o. and 8 y.o.) who play this game. In other multiplayer/co-op games, there is a no-brainer selection to choose between one and two players. I searched the various menus for this option, but could not find one. Messed around with the controller options and found the button to enable the second player. But no matter how much I pressed it, the second character would not appear. So after doing a bit of research online (ie. Google), I found out the second controller has to be TURNED ON in order for the game to recognize the other player. Since both controllers were all ready on, I had to go turn off one then press the HOME BUTTON to turn back on. Nowhere on the game jacket or during the tutorial does it explain how to do this. While my kids are having fun now, it took a good 30 minutes to figure out how two players can play together. Seems like poor coding on the software developer's part. ... show more

  • So fun, lots of different quests
This game is so fun. I bought it for my 7 year old for Christmas but also secretly bought it for myself HAHA. It is SO fun. I haven't been to Disneyland for years, since I was a kid, and the game really looks like the real deal, it was so nostalgic. There are tons of quests for each character, and side quests from there. It is so much fun. We have played for a few days and only have "accessed" 6% of the game so it definitely has a lot of content. Definitely purchase if you're a Disney and Disneyland lover. ... show more
