Just as I decided to give up I noticed the hinges to my shed door were on the outside while my tools were safely locked on the inside. Perfect small lock. Setting combination was easy. Have not checked if it is indeed waterproof as this lock will be used outdoors but appears to be well constructed. Like the bright red color as it makes lock easy to see.

This lock was perfect for what I needed. Although I didn't try to cut through the lock, It seems to be very heavy-duty steel. The combination is easy to set initially. The spin wheels are not difficult to turn. And the lock opens and closes easily. I also like that you don't need a key to set the combination, which is needed for many locks. That would have been bad for me because I would have lost the key within a few weeks (okay maybe days) after I set the combination. All-in-all, great quality lock. ... show more

We have purchased about 10 locks. 3 of the locks when locked couldn't be opened with the programmed code. Two had to be cut off. The last had been locked a number of times but the last time it was locked it would no longer open. Since this happened a number of times we were being very careful to see if we were doing something wrong. I checked that the combination was set. However when the lock was closed it closed locked. You can easily reprogram the combination of this lock. I guess you can change the combination whenever you need to. Unlike Yale or Master locks as long as you align the combination numbers the lock opens. ( don’t have to turn dial two times, line up first digit, move second digit past indicator. etc. ) it is a heavy weight lock and works smoothly this first 2 weeks.
