It took a while to receive this ottoman (due to Covid?), but after it arrived I couldn't have been happier. This is a very nice looking piece of furniture & well made. Initially, you'll need to follow instructions when changing it to a lounge chair or bed, but after a few times, it's pretty easy to figure out. We've really enjoyed using it in the lounge chair position for TV viewing. It's wide enough that my husband & I can lounge on it together. I am very impressed with this ottoman. I live in a small apartment in NY with absolutely no storage or closet space, so I'm always looking for functional furniture and alternatives to air mattresses because I have nowhere to put them! The ottoman arrived way faster than I expected (within 2 days of completing the order on Amazon) and completely assembled in a huge box. I live on the second floor of a private house and could not carry this up by myself. I had to ask my neighbor for help. Once the box was open, I was able to easily move the ottoman where I wanted and try it out. It goes from ottoman, to chair, to lounger, to twin bed. Very sturdy. I am 5'7" and weigh 215 lbs. I was able to fit in this perfectly (3rd picture). The cushioning is very firm, so I bought a mattress topper for when guests have to sleep on it. Also, the linen-like material looks to be very durable, but not comfortable (think outdoor furniture material). However, I will not be using this for anything more than the ottoman and occasional bed, so that is not an issue for me, but if you are going to use this as a place to sit on a daily basis, I suggest getting the suede version of this. The sofas I have in my living room are the Ektorp series from Ikeaa and the ottoman is exactly the same height as the sofas, so it looks great. All in all. This ottoman is is perfect for extra guests. I ordered this to put in my family room for extra company coming to view the eclipse, and the guest who slept on it said it was very comfortable. I did put a mattress pad and twin sheet on it for sleeping. Looks nice enough to leave open as a chair/lounger, so I bought a second one in the same color to place along side of it. Now I have an additional place for two people to sleep separately, or together when my guest room is occupied. Super easy to open and close, and the side flaps are nice. I bought this folding bed/stool/chair in the medium size near TWO YEARS ago. Its actually the perfect length for my minivan camper setup. With the van seats removed it is easily wired (I have industrial twists) to the seat bolts on the floor of the van. It came well packaged and quickly. It comes folded as a hassock and pops open in minutes to a lounge or bed form. The construction has proved to be solid. I like the color and the fabric flaps that hide the underneath storage. The head and foot are adjustable so you can use it more like a lounge. It is padded - but I added a 3 inch memory foam topper to that. If you add memory foam on top, you have to push a little harder to lie it flat again. If I ever stop vanning it would be way easy to fold it into its hassock form and bring it in the house. Its a little pricy for what it is, but so is everything else now-a-days. LOL I've no regrets after over a year of use, and I would buy it again. Just as a side note - in the 2019 grand caravan - if this goes on the drivers side, you can still use the small side of the 3rd row 60/40 seat. And enough room at the foot of the bed for my electric cooler. ... show more

I 've been looking for something like this for years. Came in one day earlier. It is much wider than one would think. Great size. Had a problem returning it from bed into an ottoman. Instructions not clear at all, nor figures. Open all sides of the box carefully. Slide the gizmo out and to wherever you want. Once you make it into the horizontal bed position, the rail must be pulled out all the way and then return it back in (picture - zoom in), in other words don't push the seating part but the flap - push in the rail and the flap will flatten. I had a very hard time with that even a few minutes ago taking the picture. Because when you flatten it, that part I call flap opens automatically. I am very satisfied! It is very nice - not as an ottoman/seat but a bed that does not take space. I also got the mattress cover but will open it when friends and family can visit given the virus. Not yet. I would buy a second one even though I have no room in my apartment if and when it comes in a nicer, more neutral color. I got the light grey. I am extremely satisfied and happy with this purchase! I would give 4 stars but I didn’t see any reviews of it closing down on you and frightening the life out of you when your head drops while resting. I have it in my office, got restless so slid it over didn’t think about the legs readjusting but they did. If placed on plastic rug protectors please make sure you check the legs on both ends after moving because they will readjust. Would be 5 stars if middle was not the same firmness, it sinks since there’s less support. I do love it as an ottoman, allowing all 3 small grands to sit on at the same time. ... show more
