Love the seat and I do not have to hear kids complain about seat slip out from their bum. It is great, kids can buckle easily since it doesn't scoot around fter they get off. Only down side is how much space it takes in the back seat of Accord and buckles get blocked by the seat itself, if the seat is latched. If seat is not latched, because it is wide, it will get bit crooked inside of Accord - kids will whine about they are not sitting straight forward. Love latching feature, little cup holders, and colors, but if you have plan to put two of those seats in Accord, think of different seat ... show more

    • A lot comphier than the others, higher up too!
The two pack was great as we have 2 cars. These are higher up than most seats which helps little one to see forward past a passenger which helps with motion sickness. Really comfortable seat compared to less expensive versions and the cloth is really nice quality. The cheaper seat we had would catch easy on everything - not this new seat! It cleans really easy too. The wider seat stays put in my car even without the latch system. Love the double cup holders and snack area. I can even have them both open cupholders when the seat is next to the door (which i wasnt sure I could do). The 2pack is a bargain and these are nicely built boosters! ... show more

So far I'm very impressed with the Diono Solana 2 Backless Booster. As a mom of three, I've learned what features I will and will not comprise on when it comes to safety and comfort of my kiddos. I had been searching for a booster to fit my youngest, who is quite large for her age, but not tall enough to ride without a booster seat. She had outgrown her Graco booster seat; her chubby thighs we're pressing against the armrest, and she was uncomfortable. I had gone to various stores to look at boosters that might be a little bit wider to fit her hips more comfortably, but none met my requirements. They were either wide enough with extremely thin padding, and they either featured a cup holder, or the latch system, but none featured all. I took to Amazon where I found the Diono Solana 2 Backless Booster. The Diono is definitely wide enough for her to sit comfortably and with enough room to allow her to grow. Many boosters I looked at only accomodated up to 100 lbs, but Diono will accommodate a child up to 120 lbs. this is very important when a child is large, and not yet tall enough to ride without a booster. I am satisfied with the padding on this seat. Compared to some of the other backless boosters on the market, this booster to actually seems to have a slightly thicker padding. I own a Toyota sienna minivan, I know several people have complained about this booster being too wide for their vehicle, but this booster fits perfectly in the captain's chair, and my daughter has no issues buckling herself in. Again, this booster seat had all the features I was looking for. A wider seat, slightly thicker padding, cup holders, and even more importantly, the latch system. This booster seat does look a smidge taller than our previous seat, but overall, it's not an issue. In fact, I believe the lap belt falls better across my child's thighs (where it's supposed to be positioned) rather than across her belly. I'm so impressed that I'm going to order another one for my middle child who, on longer car rides, complains that her current Graco booster causes her back to hurt. UPDATE: I'm not changing my rating because I still love the car seat, in fact so much that I ordered another one, as I mentioned above. But I wanted to add that I'm very disappointed with Amazon - I ordered the same booster seat, but a cheaper one. It was described as "very good" with the box being damaged. The booster seat arrived, the box was definitely damaged, but the car seat also had black markings on it. The booster seat wasn't even in the plastic bag, the tags had been removed from the seat and the plastic bag shoved on top of the seat. Amazon is going to send me another one, but they need to be a little more careful in their description of a product! Now I have to hassle with returning the damaged booster seat.     • Excellent quality , but very wide, VERY!
I love Diono. I have two Radian xt and hands down love. So when I needed a booster I went for this. Absolutely the most beautiful perfect purple color, my daughter was soooo excited. Not heavy but definitely not light weight but I appreciate that quality construction and it reassures me how safe and quality it is. HOWEVER, I had to unfortunately return it. The seat is soooo wide that it wouldn't fit in my Toyota Sienna with two Radian xt car seats, which if you don't know are the fit 3 across narrow. I'd hoped the 3 across could be this booster as well but not. In my Sienna, Chevy Equinox and Chevy Traverse in the captain seat or single seat, it is so wide it covered the seat belt mechanism. My child recognizably is long and thin so the seat itself swallowed her up. This would fit a larger child well more than likely. Not a bad product by any means, I just wish it were the width of the Radian xt to fit 3 across and not cover up the seat belt mechanism. I'm now looking for a narrower booster to fit with my other car seats. ... show more

Too wide for my husband’s sedan (couldn’t buckle because it sat over the top of the buckle) but was okay in the back of my SUV. Kids love the seats, though. Annoyed I ordered the blue seats, and was sent the pink/purple seats (twice - w/original order, then with replacement order which was meant to correct the first error w/ the wrong color). Ended up keeping one of the boxes with the pink/purple anyhow. ... show more

These are great booster seats but be advised they are wider than a normal car seat (see dimensions in description). We have plenty of room in our backseat and the seat buckles are wide enough the seats fit perfect.

Bought this for my 5-year-old granddaughter as she as at the age when a car seat is too small and a seat belt alone is not an option. First is high quality, good cushioning and very easy to install. Second, it is inexpensive for the quality I mentioned before. Third, my granddaughter love it! The color is bright and sits sturdy in the car seat. After reading several reviews about this booster seat being large, I decided to go ahead and purchase since we have a pretty large truck (2017 GMC Sierra) and it fits perfectly! It only fits well on either side (behind the driver or behind the passenger) and does not fit well in the middle, for anyone who might be wondering. It seems comfortable to my daughter, and she really likes feeling like a big girl in her new seat!
