They are pretty slim. I can fit 3 across in a truck. However, don't expect to get 3 across in a car the size of a Maxima or smaller. Aside from that, they are super easy to grab and go, and the cup holders can easily be stored under the seat if needed. My 6 and 7 yr old say they are very comfortable. The padding is definitely thicker and more cushy than the Graco and Costco ones I've previously had. Only tricky part is snapping the arm rests into place. ... show more

I chose these because we needed a “3 across” situation in our nanny’s car (a Hyundai Tucson). We needed 2 rear facing and a booster that needed to fit in between those.
