I purchased these chairs (same link) twice, the first time 10/2022 and then again in 12/2023. The most recently purchased set are not only shorter in height but the seat pan is narrower, how disappointing!?! These are all meant to share space at the same dining table, but honestly they just look ridiculous next to the original set. These chairs were already pushing it for being on the small size, but now they are most certainly best suited for a smaller framed/ petite build. Moving on from the inconsistent/ different size; the fabric holds up well. The micro-fiber is durable, hides any spots and easily wipes clean with a damp dishcloth. Fabric-wise, the original set looks exactly like the new set (if it wasn't for the size I wouldn't be able to tell apart). As far as their sturdiness, the original set have held up well even with a couple of larger men using (properly seated) for meals. The new (small) chairs I have only strategically placed so my child or smaller adults have used. The base/ legs of the chair seem sturdy, so I am sure they will be fine in the long run, but the seat pan is just too narrow for anyone with a mid to decent sized rear end to sit comfortably. ... show more

    • Great inexpensive leather-like chairs
I love these leather-like chairs. They look good! Let's be honest, for the price they're great, but they are inexpensive. They are pretty light, and the leather is more of a fabric that looks like leather/suede than actual leather. They are also on the smaller side which is great if you have a small space. My son is 6'2" a bit over 200 and he finds them comfortable enough. I might worry if someone sat on his lap? Other than that they seem pretty sturdy. NOTE: when putting them together, the bottom metal piece has a front and back, the directions don't tell you that. The curve goes towards the back ;-) ... show more
