I was looking for a chair that makes my moms life easier when she sits on the dining table. She uses a walker and has little to almost no strength on her whole body. It is impossible for him to drag a chair out at the dining table to sit down, let alone try to scoot up in that chair while she’s sitting in it. This chair is made of great quality. It is easy to assemble and comes in w instructions. She tells me the chair is very comfortable and the back support is adequate. I have the chair almost in the scooted in position and turn the chair to the side. She walks up w the walker, sits in the chair and easily rotated to the eating angle easily. We recently completed a kitchen renovation and were looking for chairs to round off the modern look we were trying to achieve, and also paired nicely with our new kitchen table. We preferred to shop at furniture stores so we could sit in the chair and test it out for comfort, but had no luck. We searched online and found these WUTON dining chairs with a modern mid-century vibe that were perfect for us. We looked at the reviews and decided to order them, hoping they would be comfortable once we had them assembled. The chairs arrived undamaged and were packaged very well. Assembly was a breeze and we are impressed with how comfortable the chairs are given that they have a modern look. (I don’t know if anybody else has had this experience, but we have found that very often comfort is sacrificed for aesthetic in modern furniture. Or maybe we just haven’t been shopping at the right places! Lol) We sit in these chairs regularly for meals and the chairs have held up nicely so far. We would recommend these chairs. My husband was having trouble moving his chair in and out from our dinning room table. We just built a mid century modern home and this set of chairs was just right for that. They are comfortable and have a smooth swivel. The “wood” looks nice but is a little sensitive to nicking the finish. I have a brown marker that works so far. When you sit on them, there is a whoosh sound that has caused some laughter and naughty jokes. I have one at each end of the table and was going to purchase four more to match (possibly without a swivel feature) but that sound is holding me back. ... show more
