My friend needed a single din radio that's affordable and works, and this one checks all the boxes. Installing it was very easy and took less than 1 hour to install and the CarPlay is smooth and barely lags. 100% recomend!

    • nice update for old truck
Dad has a 1997 Silverado truck with a single DIN dash opening. It's a farm truck so he's never had anything other than the AM/FM radio in it. Surprised him with this unit, installed it and borrowed his phone to get it synced to his bluetooth so it connects when he gets in the truck now. He likes it because he has a playlist on his phone of old country songs but had been settling for whatever he could find on the radio at the time. Now he can listen to his favorite songs and take phone calls over the speakers in his truck so it's a lot easier to hear conversations. Installation is pretty straightforward, you just connect power and ground and then match up the speaker wiring and connect the antenna. No fancy steering wheel controls or anything else to mess with. No AM radio but he never listened to that anyway, he gets to keep FM radio plus have Bluetooth and Carplay as well. Display is a little small to read maps but the voice navigation is nice to have.     • Cheap, useless, wast of money
It’s very cheap, the functions are slow and laggy, the screen looks ok but it doesn’t always register touch, the menu is lacking, it is exactly what you would expect for the price, and I ordered it on a Friday saying it would be for Saturday delivery, then it updated to Sunday but it finally shipped overnight UPS on Monday and I received it on Tuesday evening so the shipper is misleading on their shipping, very poor and I would not recommend it ... show more
