Overall this is a great product for the price. It is bright, controllable, consistent, and looks OK. My only concern is the power supply wires (cannot really call this a chord it's very thin and fragile.) This is concerning since anything at all tugging on this or rolling over it or any kind of interaction with anything bigger than a gnat might cause a wire break or sever it altogether. The best thing you can do is some time and a few bucks into some cable management to help protect this itty bitty wire. ... show more

I saw this lamp recommended by an artist on YouTube, and I'm so glad I took her recommendation. This is the perfect task light for artists when color temperature matters. The lamp creates a more natural looking light so you can see your paint or pastel or crayon colors more accurately. The gooseneck is great for positioning the light however you need it. Perfect choice of brightness, easy on off and even has a remote. The electrical cord is real thin so I keep my eye on it and check for overheating…however it never gets hot. Also has a timer and flexible neck. Amazing product packed with features for an extremely low cost. I love it!

Assembly of this land was very easy following the included instructions. It was easy to learn how to use the remote. Apparently the remote uses radio frequency to operate the lamp - meaning that it does not use infrared, which would require you to point the remote at the lamp.
