I did a lot of research before choosing an electric fireplace. This one was a bit pricier than I wanted, but I wanted something that had relatively realistic looking flames. I’m happy with the look of this fireplace and would recommend it. It does have a slight hum when it’s turned on and it is a bit louder when you turn the heat mechanism on. This would not deter me from buying though. The flame color options are nice. The heat mechanism is not bad, but don’t plan on relying on it to heat a large area. ... show more

I would give it 5 stars except for the noise of the fan during flame mode, it kicks on about every 15 to 20 minutes.. makes no sense and the heater is not the greatest. other than that annoyance it is a great looking unit and the effects of the flame and light are pretty nice. The media could not be loaded. We already had a Dimplex in the living room and when we decided to add a fireplace to our bedroom this was the only choice. My husband installed both of them himself. Great product and excellent quality. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase.

It arrived on time, and it was just what I was looking for. The flame looks very inviting and rather realistic. I replaced my gas fireplace. This does not provide much heat but that was not what I was looking for. I wanted ambience rather than a heat source.
