While no one in this family is truly a professional photographer, we are observant people. We are a mom, dad, daughter,have a dog, cat, aunts, uncles and more and all of us love memories. You can't take people with you when you go, but the memories will always be in your heart and this little gem was able to capture this. It captures it as portraits (of the dog licking herself), zooms in while the boys are playing football, the ceiling fan (six year old), it catches the grandkids snatching cookies and most of all captures memories of that special spring break vacation. For someone that had very little experience, in less than a week's time she was snapping photos like she was a pro in Hollywood. So many fun little experiences. We even made sure the six year old knew that yes the videos could go on You Tube, guess she plans on being the next star. Beside the zoom and wideangle lenses I think our favorite has ended up being the 180 degree flip screen. So many things you can capture with this, in ways you could never get before. The size is amazingly comfy, not bulky at all, but does the trick. It is nice and solid, easy to use and for the price we paid, we feel like we didn't break the bank. Husband is most jealous of the 4k digital camera that has the pause function. It allows us to continue recording in the same file without restarting a new one. His only disappointment is that we told him he should get his own if he plans on using it for fishing. We are rather fearful we might not get it back. This is truly a great family camera, and yet at the same time, reasonable enough you could have a few of them in the family. Save purple for me, it's my signature color. I forgot to share that we were able to record while we were charging it, how super cool is that? Oh and the LED light is amazing for camping photos. I really need to shut up, could talk all day about this little camera. So final words, say CHEESE!! ... show more

Camera has lots of great features and is easy to use. My favorite is that it can connect to my phone via its own WiFi signal and I can send the pictures out fairly quickly. It zooms in and out well, takes good quality shots, and can take video on top of just still shots if I want. I haven’t had time yet to really get to know the camera but from what I’ve done so far, I’m happy with what I have! I’ll be using it at Christmas and testing out the timer feature with the annual family photos!! (Strap is not included but very much recommended!) Comes with 2 batteries which is very convenient! Very nice camera for the price. Takes some getting used to all the features, but takes some very nice photos and video. Button placement also takes some getting used to: simply switching hands can cause an inadvertent change in settings, like filters or photo types. The wifi feature is good, but a little complicated since it relies on it's own private network to communicate with other devices. I haven't been able to get it on my local LAN. Those are pretty small issues. Camera takes good photos, comes with 2 batteries and a charger, plus a USB interconnect. Very good value for a decent DSLR camera. ... show more

Had to replace my old dslr that had stopped working but didn't want to spend a lot on one. This camera is good camera and fairly easy to use. I like the flipping screen. The lens attachment is nice, the lense not extending when zooming did take a minute to get used to but still takes good pictures. This is a a good camera especially if the use is not professional photography and my kid was able to use the camera very easily. Would definitely buy again. ... show more

I took this camera with me to Coachella with the goal of recording and taking photos. The camera quality was okay, but the audio quality is horrible. Definitely not meant for concerts. The media could not be loaded. I was very very skeptical about this camera after seeing it on Tik Tok so many times and feeling like the reviews people were leaving were fake or over exaggerated. I ordered it myself for vacation recently and I actually loved it! This is a good camera for beginners and someone not looking for professional perfect digital camera photos. I also purchased a light with it and it made the quality even better. I tried using a microphone but for some reason you could not hear me in the videos. The sound is not the best without the microphone but it will do if you like that old school digital camera sound. I’ve included a photo and video I took when I was at Niagara Falls and I’m pretty impressed at the quality. The negatives would only be, I do wish it was a little smaller. I also wish the screen that comes out to see yourself was 360 degrees and not only facing the front. I also don’t like the wifi option when downloading the photos to your phone. The larger the mega bytes, the longer it takes to download and if you exit out the app while downloading the photo and videos, it will cancel the download and you will have to redownload it again.
