I was sceptical at first because of the low price I thought I would get a crappy product. We received two big boxes with all parts needed to assemble bed. In the end it is a sturdy bed. The bed is exactly as pictured. It's a good quality bed. My daughter is very happy and loves this bed.

My kids love this bunk. It stands at about 5’1 and pretty sturdy once assembled. It does require two people and a couple of hours to assemble even though the description says 45 minutes (that made me LOL). Almost all the tools you’ll need come with the package except for a screw driver. You’ll need that as well as a pair of pliers if you get a bolt that hadn’t been properly dug out to fit the L tool. I had to use my pliers to twist a bolt into place since it was completely solid. The pieces have a lingering lacquered smell so if you don’t want that in your room I suggest airing out your pieces for a few days before assembling it. It’s twin over twin but as it suggests, a 6in and an 8in are perfect for the top and bottom. Anything higher and your kid will roll right out of bed. I specifically got this bunk for the guard rails to keep my kids safe inside. You have the option to choose which sides you want the ladder and the slide on or you can keep it completely off like we did. It was a little big for our room. Also, per the instructions, if this bunk is being used frequently as well as the slide, you’ll need to make sure you check all bolts to ensure they’re still tightened. I have a love/hate relationship with any bolts that use the L tool. On one hand it’s great and easy, but on the other they tend to come loose faster than traditional screws. Probably one of the best purchases I’ve made for my boys! This took about 4 hours to put together for me. only cause a few times I had to make sure I was using the correct pieces lol. When you assemble this bad boy TAKE YOUR TIME. It’s very sturdy and my kiddos love it. When it comes to ordering mattresses make sure you get nothing thicker than 5-6inches I made the mistake of buying a 10inch mattress for the full part of the bunk and it was a little too thick. Bought as a gift for my 15 year old granddaughter and she loves it. Took her a few days to build and takes two people. Note the mattress recommendation size as a thicker one covers up the guard rail which is a safety concern for small kids.
