Throughout the day, she took a lot of photos, and excitedly told me that she could directly select filters while taking photos, which made her feel like she was "creating seriously." I took my kids to the zoo last month. I didn’t want to carry a heavy SLR, so I brought this compact camera. The operation is very intuitive, just open it and shoot without having to adjust it around at all. The 16x optical zoom is particularly useful when viewing giraffes and elephants, and the picture remains clear and unblurred even after zooming in. The resolution of 56MP is also high enough, and the photos of children and red pandas can be enlarged and printed clearly. The yellow shell is very eye-catching and you won’t be able to find it in your child’s backpack. The CMOS sensor produces very stable images with natural colors in sunny places. It uses ordinary memory cards, and the files are all in JPEG format, so it is very convenient to export them to your computer at home. We went to the zoo yesterday and I handed this to my 6-year-old nephew so he wouldn't get bored walking between exhibits. The lanyard is handy; he wore it around his neck the whole time and didn't drop it. He went nuts with the 16x zoom trying to see the tigers. The quality is surprisingly good for a point-and-shoot this size. The screen is bright enough to see outdoors in the sun. We checked the footage on the computer later, and the 1080p video of the elephants was actually watchable. It’s a straightforward little shooter that doesn't have a million confusing settings. This Digital Camera for my ten year old niece, Mia, who was obsessed with using my phone. I needed something that felt like a real camera but was durable enough to survive a kid's birthday party. This camera is the perfect transition tool. It looks and feels substantial, not like a flimsy plastic toy, but it’s compact and light enough for her to easily carry around. The fact that it came with a card and rechargeable batteries right out of the box was a huge win; no immediate run to the store needed. The autofocus and anti-shake features are brilliant, meaning fewer blurry photos of her dog, Buster (who also featured in an earlier review of mine). The zoom is also surprisingly capable. It takes decent pictures and video, definitely high enough quality for family memories and sharing. The only small frustration is the on-screen menu, which is slightly less intuitive than I'd like. It took a few minutes to figure out the video vs. photo mode switch.
